Third Eye Sight: Remote Viewing

I usually have a very "noisy" mind. The usual cacophony of things constantly popping up: items from my to-do list, unfinished conversations with friends, past and present reminiscencies, catching various subtle observations, etc., etc. Let's call them pop-ups. I was never able to willfully quieten my mind not even for 3 sec.

But recently, I suddenly got a new skill. It just happened, I simply tried and it turned up. I can have a crystal clear mind for as long as I don't fall asleep :). It's like no pop-ups at all. It's like looking into completely empty space and nothing is happening. Question: Is that it, the state of mind one needs for R.V.?

After that, I usually go into that special, highly visual, sleep mode where I am kind of visually aware of my complete environment and it seems as if I am awake. Usually, very early in the morning, before getting out of bed.

Now, what happens during this new 'cristal clear' mode, after a while sort of 'video' or a very 'realistic dream' imposes itself. It's a very unusual 'video' because it doesn't let go, it can't be distracted easily. It's very different from 'pop-ups' because 'pop-ups' come and go every second or so and I can impose with my own will.

About a week ago I had this 'imposed dream' that lasted maybe 5 min and actually foretold events that played out in reality 2-3 days after. As I induced a second 'imposed dream' with 'cristal clear mind', but it was a very visual recollection of a past event.

Is remote vision what I described above as 'imposed dream'?

Don't know but I would think so. On the first day I had no distractions and that is an excellent description of my state at the time. Seems like @nivek had some success, which I attribute to more to his skills . On the second day there were some unpleasant real world things going on, more than just a noisy lawnmower, and it seemed like I was just sitting in my garage, which I was.

An imposed dream? Hard to say. If the events that happened were two or three minutes in the future I'd probably say there were some subtle clues at work, 2-3 days in advance sounds precognitive. Probably same church, different pew.

that state of clarity is the starting point to many spiritual things.
observation and creation are helped much by that clarity.
keep practicing. you will get far past most remote viewers if you do.
I know others that have dreams of the future like you did, keep paying attention and it will likely continue.

As a kind of reporting on development with my "clear mind" and "imposed dream" training. Today I had an extremely long "clear mind" session, about 5-7 min, just before getting out of the bed :). Yeah, being in a warm cushy bed, covered with sheets and cozying up is an excellent way to meditate (I know I am going to get some flack here). "Imposed dream" didn't happen, but "clear mind" continued into the active, out of the bed so to say, time when I was buzzing about my home.

Now that was scary because "clear mind" is basically mind OFF state. I was really afraid that I'll hurt myself or break something. I would recommend NOT to be in the "clear mind" state when one is around electrical cables, children, in a workplace, and any environment where one can hurt himself or break something. I would say working on laptop is safe (as long as you have a backup :) ). But buzzing around home mostly means doing repetitive, everyday tasks, so it's kind off semi-safe.

On another note, I am guessing "imposed dream" didn't happen during the last few sessions of mine because simply nothing of importance happened to me in the next few days. I just had simple, regular days: work, do some chores, relax, and so on. The before mentioned, 2-3 days forward premonition, happened because it basically predicted one highly emotionally charged event in my personal life. Maybe it was that high emotional charge that spilled over into the past and I picked up on it 2-3 days in advance.

Another feature of the "clear mind" is that there are instant physiological changes. First, my breathing automatically slows down and goes much deeper. This is completely involuntary. Instead of breathing in, as usual in sharp-short-shallow breaths, my body switches on its own gulping buckets of air in slow deep breaths. Another blessing is the relaxation of my neck & shoulders muscles. When I am stressed I didn't even notice how tension accumulates in my neck & shoulders. But as soon I push in this "clear mind" all the tension in the neck & shoulder relaxes. I would go to say that somehow "clear mind" and neck & shoulder tension can't be done simultaneously. It's like there is some physiological connection where "clear mind" automatically causes your neck & shoulder muscles to relax. This is interesting because one is mind and the other is physiological.

Continuing with my observations, I would say the "clear mind" is actually a very boring "no fun" mode", because all the usually the fun and chatter that are going on in one's mind are stopped. Faithfully being a computer engineer I would go as far as to call it "low tech" mode :) . Basically, after few hours after getting up, I evaporated it and went back to normal "buzz" mode. Yet another observation would be that "clear mind" is "mind's eye" mode, because with one's eyes closed one very intensively feels as he/she is looking at something. That's in spite one's eyes being closed, just a feeling.

I am just writing this down in order to demystify / dumb down / make relatable the whole RV / spirituality thing, which I think is a simple phenomenon that will eventually be explained by science.

I am just writing this diary like experience down in order to demystify / dumb down / make relatable the whole RV / spirituality thing, which I think is a simple phenomenon that will eventually be explained by science. Possibly in a way I suggested here #26. It is well understood and confirmed by experiments that QM effects, like entanglement, play a significant role in macroscopic biological processes like for example photosynthesis. So why not in our brains? I think the whole RV / spirituality thing is heavily frontloaded by tons of overhyped bull. So, the more of regular level-headed people successfully repeat these RV experiments the better.

Eeeeee. I see your point but there are people who seem to have some mastery of that ability that might not look at their approach in that way.

Been doing breathing exercises - laying in a warm comfy bed on my back. It sure as hell feels good. I also experienced a period of semi-wakefulness and found it relaxing, not particularly revealing. I usually wake up like someone just sounded General Quarters.

Going to lather, rinse, repeat this afternoon with some help from some audio files. Cruise through the NASA site and you'll find that they've spent some time on this topic - not RV but meditation and relaxation techniques.

A question I've been curious about is: exactly how do I dial into a specific target? I think the answer is - you don't. You just write down your impressions after the session during which hopefully you've put yourself into the proper frame of mind. Are you broadcasting some specific startup string on the network that the cosmic DHCP server has a scope for?

Yeah, but once it's demystified it's for good. Then it becomes "nothing special" that everybody can do. If somebody has a mastery of something it means he's good at it on an intuitive level, but he might not be understanding it at all. A good example is a great football player, who turns out to be a very bad coach. There are many musicians, particularly in a rock and pop, who play without notes etc.

Just found quiet place where I will be comfortable and undisturbed is a rare commodity around here lately. I found a spot and an audio file to help block out the distractions. High Quality White Noise | Play & Download .wav .mp3 Audio Files
Before the world ended there was a place nearby that had sensory deprivation tanks that I'd like to try. I would think being able to meditate and relax would be a requirement before I did something like that. It doesn't come easily to everyone. There is something else we need to consider here and I was a little late to the party figuring it out. That was probably the Canadian Pebbles and being absorbed with my own nonsense.

Why exactly are we doing this and what do we hope to accomplish? Seems straightforward enough but I'm not sure we're all on the same page.

For me this started with two physical manifestations; mundane but inexplicable. Minor, but when you really think about it, not. This led to Tarot readings in which we were both surprised, which then led to RV sessions. The CRV manual mentions its appeal because it comes from the military which removes some stigma or lends authority to the practice for the empirically minded. Similarly the RV sessions were - for me - a way to take away some emotional subjectivity and maybe produce a verifiable result for us literal minded types. What was I after ? Basically, WTF is going on? Why did those two things happen to me? Because things like that just don't, ever, and they did and I'm not imagining it. I didn't see a dog-man smoking a cigarette or anything spectacular but I did see something that shouldn't have happened, or appears so.

In the course of this I've been practicing meditation and Good God yesterday finally experienced a truly rare phenomenon for me; I became extremely relaxed and felt pretty good. This is not my default condition. That's usually 104% until fuel expended. Cut to the chase - I believe I am the source of what happened in some way. Crap, maybe my camera reveals me sleepwalking and doing some weird stuff. I don't think so and just don't know. These attempts at meditation to prepare for, well anything, are helpful to me on a number of levels and aren't something I would have just gone and done anyway.

@nivek has devoted a good chunk of his life to learning these practices. I do not fully understand them and want to tread very lightly here so as not to insult the man. Might be too late. We've both been surprised by what he's said already and I wouldn't want to casually play at something and dismiss practices he's devoted years of his life to. There is a reason that many - including (I think) the original CRV group - turns to the study of human consciousness. Maybe nuts and bolts don't explain everything. Many claim to have supernatural abilities and I don't know exactly how he might describe them but the results tell me that whatever it is, he's got a real talent that I wouldn't presume to be able to pick up frankly at all much less quickly.

I'm looking forward to my next chance to just meditate for 10-15 minutes quietly and the session we will attempt Friday will be one of those. Seems so simple yet something I just wouldn't have done otherwise, so for me this exercise has already been a success. It may or may not provide some clarity for me with those weird manifestations and in any case, the camera's on all the time. $30 bought me that small piece of mind.

All my attempts to meditate were always leading nowhere. My mind was totally restless.

Then, recently, things totally changed. I could zone into what I called a "clear mind" without preparation and without any distraction from other thoughts and stay in "clear mind" incredibly long. That really surprised me. And as before, the more I meditate more and faster some coincidences start happening after the meditation. And dare I say, things start coming to me, material and immaterial. That's the weird part. But, maybe I become more mindful and observe things previously ignored.

Good questions, or question, a single answer could answer both parts of that query...Not everyone in a group always starts out on the same page, that's part of the purpose of the group, to build those bridges as we progress...

Observe yourself as often as you can remember to do so, just observe, capture information, you can do something with that later...

'Nuts and bolts' are a part of it since we are in these human body machines, we know fairly well now what this machine needs on the 'outside', good food, clean air, regular exercise, etc...But there is so much more within, unknown territory for so many, this is where the real work lies...If you want to 'do', you have to 'be'...

i have named myself 'cosmic joke' at this site for a reason. my friend nivek may or may not guess at that reason. as good fortune, and with years of lackadaisical work would have it, my 'third eye' has unceremoniously fallen by the way side, as all and every 'i am' must and should, and so has been replaced with the more simple and quite natural for me 'jinnereye'. one day, for sure, this will pass too. as all things must. of course those personalities 'etched in stone' will, while continuing to share their 'souly' resumes with any available 'like' ear, will remain constant for time eternal. what a price to pay eh

OK. No response from anyone yet but this is what I wrote after the session we just had:

I just logged in but haven’t read the thread yet. Should’ve done this first – open a Word doc and write down my impressions.

First, these just feel good. I got totally relaxed and sat there a few extra minutes. Not asleep but I feel refreshed – and can now swill some of the coffee I deprived myself of this morning.

I got a faint impression of a door in front of me. Could be a rectangular object I suppose but the impression was a dark colored door maybe 8-10’ in front of me in a very light colored room. Maybe a small oval table or dresser to the left.

Might be much too involved and is probably way off, but Scout’s Honor I haven’t peeked yet. I’ll just scrape & paste and then read the thread.

Please read first @pigfarmer 's post above.

I was the target in this RV experiment and I was on the location and simply looking at two outdoor objects, 5 minutes each, at the agreed time. @pigfarmer was meditating and relaxing while trying to 'read' the location I was at. Geographically speaking we were in timezones that were 5 hours apart. I've deliberately chosen a location with very dominating objects to make RV easier.

Target #1 @ 10:00 - 10:05 am EST

This was a railway bridge, having many arches. I looked straight at it for 5 minutes. There were at least 10 pedestrians milling about behind me and distracting me a bit.

upload_2020-12-6_9-25-2.png

Target #2 @ 10:05 - 10:10 am EST

I was standing right in the middle of the bridge and watching this stream. Again, few people passed behind me and distracted me, but I was focusing for most of the time, at least 80%.

The Phenomenon of Remote Viewing: How Did it Get Started?
By Nick Redfern

Most people with an interest in the world of the paranormal will have heard of Remote Viewing. But, how many people know how the phenomenon began? Maybe not so many. For decades, numerous nations, all around the world, have done their utmost to try and harness the mysterious powers of the mind and utilize them as tools of nothing less than espionage. Extra-sensory perception (ESP), clairvoyance, precognition, and astral-projection have all been utilized by the CIA, the KGB, and British Intelligence on more than a few occasions. As astonishing as it may sound, the world of psychic 007’s is all too real. It’s a subject that has been researched, with varying degrees of success, for decades.

Aerial-view-of-the-CIA-Headquarters-Langley-Virginia-570x376.jpg

CIA Headquarters, Langley, Virginia

The earliest indication of serious interest on the part of the U.S. Government in the field of psychic phenomena can be found in a formerly classified CIA document written in 1977 by Dr. Kenneth A. Kress – then an engineer with the CIA’s Office of Technical Services – and titled Parapsychology in Intelligence. According to Kress: “Anecdotal reports of extrasensory perception capabilities have reached U.S. national security agencies at least since World War II, when Hitler was said to rely on astrologers and seers. Suggestions for military applications of ESP continued to be received after World War II. In 1952, the Department of Defense was lectured on the possible usefulness of extrasensory perception in psychological warfare.

“In 1961, the CIA’s Office of Technical Services became interested in the claims of ESP. Technical project officers soon contacted Stephen I. Abrams, the Director of the Parapsychological Laboratory, Oxford University, England. Under the auspices of Project ULTRA, Abrams prepared a review article which claimed ESP was demonstrated but not understood or controllable. Kress added: “The report was read with interest but produced no further action for another decade. “Indeed, it was in the early 1970s that the research began in earnest. In April 1972, Dr. Russell Targ, a laser physicist with a personal interest in parapsychology and the power of the human mind, met with CIA personnel from the Office of Strategic Intelligence, specifically to discuss paranormal phenomena.

brain-waves-consciousness-mind-control-technology-elon-musk-facebook-australia-570x379.jpg

Of paramount concern to the CIA was the fact that Targ informed them that the Soviet Union was deeply involved in researching psychic phenomena, mental telepathy and ESP. It did not take the CIA long to realize that the purpose of the Soviet research was to determine if ESP could be used as a tool of espionage. Can you imagine if a bunch of psychic James Bond types from Russia could focus their minds to short-circuit our missile systems or our satellite surveillance equipment and get access to classified information in this way? The possibilities – if it worked – would be disastrous. It was this realization that galvanized the CIA into action. As the Kress report stated, in 1973: “The Office of Technical Services funded a $50,000 expanded effort in parapsychology.”

The initial studies utilized a variety of people who were carefully and secretly brought into the project, and who demonstrated a whole range of seemingly paranormal skills. Those same skills could not be reliably replicated on every occasion, however. As evidence of this, Kenneth Kress informed his superiors that, “One subject, by mental effort, apparently caused an increase in temperature; the action could not be duplicated by the second subject. The second subject was able to reproduce, with impressive accuracy, information inside sealed envelopes. Under identical conditions, the first subject could reproduce nothing.” Similarly, some government-sponsored psychics in the period from 1973 to 1974 located secret missile installations in the Soviet Union, found terrorist groups in the Middle East, and successfully remote viewed the interior of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. Others, meanwhile, provided data that was sketchy and, at times, simply wrong. And it was the continuing rate of success versus the frequency of failure that led to heated debate within the CIA about the overall relevancy and validity of the project. Nevertheless, the RV program was now up and running. And there was little to stop it.
