I realize that these movies don’t really scare anyone anymore and the characters have seen many remakes. There was something pure about those Universal Monster movies made mostly in the 1930s and 1940s.They found right actors to play the monsters. The remakes are mostly more gory. You can’t improve over Karloff, Lugosi and Chaney.

That's what I love about the movie Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, both Lon Chaney Jr and Bela Lugos starred in it, Glenn Strange played Frankenstein...

No, but I remember Bonanza Buffet. :D

All you could eat and drink including a salad bar and dessert.

I also remember a time when Dairy Queen was only open during the summer months.

The company that owns Pizza Hut filed for Chapter 11 in 2020. That franchise must have drastically changed from those photos. I haven’t been in a Pizza Hut restaurant in 25 years.

I'm going to go downstairs and pop that big LeMans gas gap so I can get high off that wonderful delicious fossil fuel.

I didn't read the article because I'm having trouble with my right eye this morning but, I am wondering who tagged the pigeon? It has a collar on it's leg.

Pigeons are a big pest around here we are constantly fighting them off because they want to roost on our balconies. They're very dirty diseased filled birds that sit in their own excrement. I had a pigeon sit/roost on my bathroom window sill for a winter. By the time it left, there was 8 inches of build up on the sill.

It's actually one of my favorite scents. I like the smell of most petroleum products. Remember the old lighter fluid? And then there were those big magic markers that the teachers used to use.

I have an old Zippo and yes, that smell brings me right back to my grandfather. One of the things I'd notice if I time travelled back to my old house is that it must've absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke.

Gas? Yup. Love it in the right dose. If you wanted this particular parfum I wasn't kidding. You can literally reach in that hole and swish your fingers in the stuff.

They say now the Pigeon may not be from the USA even though its got a US registration tag on its leg. They say there is a lot of cheating going on in the pigeon fanciers world and that his tag may be fake. Hope it is as they are gunning for him. Yes they are filthy birds luckily I don't have any of them around here.

I've been wanting to own a 1993-5 Mazda RX-7 (3rd gen) with a rotary engine and twin-turbochargers...I had a 1983 RX-7 (1st gen) once, it also had a rotary engine but had no turbo, that was a fun car to drive...Maybe someday I'll get a 3rd gen, a basic one runs about 10 to 12 thousand dollars last time I checked on autotrader...
