Yes, we are born into sin to better get rid of them (the sins). You don't get rid of something you don't have, right? The way you get rid of them is double for we are too weak to fully succeed by our own. You take a step toward God (efforts to be better and to repent) for God to take more steps toward you (salvation). James 4:8-10 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. People need forgiveness, that's for sure. And they will receive it BECAUSE they will repent...and have faith. Take a step toward God for God to take two steps toward you. The New Jerusalem are for those who did it. But the story is not finished yet for all those people must finally convince God they deserved to be saved at the end of God's Millennium. The life conditions in the New Jerusalem, without Satan's influence, should even more separate the wheat from the chaff, the sins wouldn't then be put on Satan's back.
