Amazing how far this country has fallen in such a short time, thinking back to 2019, we had peace not war, we had a great economy, no inflation, energy independence, no need to drain the strategic reserve or go begging our enemies for oil, we had security, no threats and a secure southern border...Oh yeah, we had Trump as president too...

Trump says AMERICA is the greatest threat to Western Civilization: Tears into the 'establishment' for pushing for nuclear conflict with Russia

Former President Donald Trump said in a video posted Thursday that Russia wasn't the biggest threat to the U.S., but rather some of the country's own citizens, as he went on a screed about battling the 'establishment.' 'But the greatest threat to Western civilization today is not Russia, it's probably more than anything else ourselves and some of the horrible, USA-hating people that represent us,' Trump said.

Elon Musk says Trump will win by a LANDSLIDE in 2024 if Manhattan DA arrests him Tuesday, as Republicans claim rumored indictment is plot to kill ex-president's re-election hopes

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has backed former president Donald Trump for a 'landslide victory' if he is handcuffed and arrested by the Manhattan DA.

Trump said he will be arrested on Tuesday over claims he paid porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged affair.

Last week the former president and 2024 hopeful was invited to testify before a Manhattan grand jury, with his long-time fixer and former lawyer Michael Cohen testifying on Monday.

He claimed on his Truth Social account that the Manhattan DA's office will arrest him within days and branded the probe 'corrupt and highly political', calling the alleged hush money payment an 'old and fully debunked fairy-tale.'

Many have been questioning if they will see the 76-year-old former president in handcuffs – with Musk now saying the move could get him re-elected.

Donald Trump could be first president to be arrested since 19th Century leader Ulysees S. Grant was collared for going too fast on his HORSE

Donald Trump could become the first US president since Ulysses S Grant to be arrested if Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bagg chooses to indict him on charges relating to a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The 45th president announced today that he is expecting to be arrested on Tuesday by New York authorities after his lawyers paid Daniels a total of $130,000 to keep quiet about their alleged affair.

Trump, 76, has been dogged by legal scandals in recent years, but has never been arrested in connection to any criminality.

He would be the first president to be put into handcuffs since Ulysses S. Grant was pulled over for speeding in his horse and buggy.

The 18th president was pulled over by a police officer in 1876, with officer William West telling him: 'Duty is duty sir, and I will have to place you under arrest.'

If faithless liberals just got out of the way, Americans will vote Trump into oblivion. But these left-wing zealots insist on corrupting the system to get Don by any means necessary... and it'll put him back in the White House

This apparent indictment is a joke. Not only does it face a massive uphill climb to a conviction, but it also undermines the American legal system and will likely help Trump in his campaign to be president. Now, do not get me wrong, I despise Trump. His divisiveness tears at the social fabric of America and as a supreme narcissist he puts his own interests above those of the nation. Yet here's the thing - my hatred of Trump does not blind me to the reality that paying hush money is not a crime.

Manhattan DA Announces Plan To Get Trump Elected In 2024

Manhattan DA Announces Plan To Get Trump Elected In 2024

MANHATTAN, NY — Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has announced a brilliant new plan to get Trump elected President in 2024.
"I will stop at absolutely nothing to put Trump back in the White House where he belongs," said Mr. Bragg. "I'm about to charge up his base like you've never seen!"
Mr. Bragg had carefully waited until the moment he could give Trump the biggest political boost to push forward with an indictment. "Check and mate, libs," laughed Mr. Bragg as he pulled on a MAGA hat. "I've already put in my request to be Trump's Transportation Secretary, I hear it's super easy. 2024, here we come!"
After lawyers of every political allegiance agreed there was no criminal case against Trump over hush money paid during his 2016 campaign, Mr. Bragg knew taking the hopeless case was his big chance. "The optics of Democrats indicting, even handcuffing Trump on charges that have no chance of sticking - what more could the Trump campaign ask for?" said MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. "Mr. Bragg might be the most brilliant Republican strategist this century. He's playing chess while the rest of us are out here playing checkers."
At publishing time, Governor Ron DeSantis was wondering what sort of crime he needed to be indicted for to keep pace with Trump.

My wife is in the city once or twice a week. She's not sitting at home reading about crime she's looking at it. Stores where animals come in and empty the place repeatedly with no consequence. What was it, Duane Reed that shuttered two of their locations in Manhattan because of it? Same as two Walmart stores in Portland. If social injustice is such a concern then who exactly do you suppose that affects exactly? Rich white people? Rich anybody? Not so much , it ****s on the rest of us. When the stores close it's that many fewer tax payers available to finance foreign governments, give away to illegals while our own people lack medical care.. So now she watches other stores that are being voided without consequence, they running out of stores. Oh, and when of the store owners - a real owner not part of a chain - defends himself from physical assault he's jailed by that fat turd DA.

Even up here we have gangs that have now finished with drug stores and are now working on beauty supply stores. I wonder when it'll become acceptable to roam residential neighborhoods and do this?

BLM can make any statement they want about doom and destruction and that p.o.,s Alvin Bragg has nothing to say. Involve Trump and they're calling out the SWAT teams, National Guard and maybe going to DefCon 4 before it's over. This left leaning 'I hate whitey' shit is getting old because the people screaming inclusion are the ones creating division. There is a good reason that New York state lost 2% of it's population to Florida in the past year or two. And for all that we have the privilege of paying the highest taxes in the country. Oh, and while I'm foaming at the mouth it's been revealed that the Cuomo administration deliberately prevented utilizing the USS Comfort and the Javits Center during the pandemic at times when all the news said was abut how overloaded the hospitals are and how they lacked necessary equipment. Equipment that's just been auctioned off unused for pennies on the dollar. Anybody need Ford ventilators? Let's ee, we know the actal death toll from poor decision making is 15,oooo in this state alone. If you really could do the math and render the covid death toll numbers I wonder how many are attributable to political stupidity ? Who can believe anything 'the media' has to say ?

Indictment process stalled...

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office has "canceled" the grand jury meeting that was scheduled to take place Wednesday as part of the investigation into former President Trump, amid speculation of a possible indictment, two sources familiar told Fox News.

The grand jury was slated to meet Wednesday and was expected to hear from at least one additional witness, but Fox News has learned that Bragg's office "canceled" the proceedings.

Two sources familiar told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that the grand jury was canceled amid "major dissension" within the district attorney's office. One source claimed the district attorney is having trouble convincing the grand jury on potential charges due to the "weakness" of the case.

Could be, the Dem upper echelon said to Bragg, "You Jackass, what are you trying to do, make Trump stronger?!

They have no case against Trump...

...

The sudden turn of events that could derail Trump's indictment

(Excerpts)

The flaw in Bragg’s tortured logic is two-fold. First, non-disclosure agreements in exchange for money are perfectly legal. Second, Cohen long ago stated that the payment had nothing to do with the campaign but was made to protect Melania Trump from an embarrassing, albeit false, accusation. As such, it is not an illegal campaign donation under the law. Hence there is no crime.

It appears that Bragg’s star witness is none other than Cohen who has performed an astonishing pirouette by recanting his earlier statements. He now claims that the money was intended to help Trump’s campaign fend off a damaging story. Reliance on such a disreputable character as Cohen is a clear sign of the DA’s desperation. Cohen's hatred of Trump is well known. He has carved out a career of trashing his former boss.
______________

In a sudden turn of events, Cohen’s former attorney Robert Costello —no longer bound by the attorney-client privilege that was waived by his ex-client— testified before the grand jury on Monday. According to Costello, in April of 2018 Cohen repeatedly stated that the Daniels payment was intended to protect the candidate’s wife, not the campaign. Moreover, Cohen insisted that he acted all on his own and not at the behest of Trump. While testifying for over two hours, Costello said he realized that Bragg had been hiding from the grand jury nearly all of the files he had previously turned over to the DA that corroborated Cohen’s original story.

Is this the smoking gun? Letter from Michael Cohen claiming Trump did NOT reimburse him for hush money paid to Stormy Daniels appears to fly in face of the star witness's grand jury testimony

Bombshell document, exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, could cripple prosecutors pursuit of criminal charges against Donald Trump over payments to Stormy Daniels. Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer, is the star witness in the case over which Trump reportedly faces imminent arrest for campaign finance violations. But in a February 2018 letter Cohen's attorney wrote that 'Mr. Cohen used his own personal funds' and that 'neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign reimbursed Mr. Cohen.'

The letter appears to be in direct conflict with Cohen¿s sworn testimony to Congress given a year later. Cohen said under oath that Trump ¿asked me to pay off an adult film star with whom he had an affair,¿ and that ¿Mr. Trump directed me to use my own personal funds from a Home Equity Line of Credit to avoid any money being traced back to him that could negatively impact his campaign'

We all held our breath about the indictment, then let it out when he started posting that infantile shit with the baseball bat. There's a lot of fakery out there but I don't think that is. He wants to whip up a vengeful crowd - AGAIN - and will deny it. That's the difference between the usual political hack and a demagogue. William Barr called hit 'unfit to lead' and that about sums it up. Lack of adult judgement.
