U.S. to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital

70 years ago the Palestinians could have negotiated for 1/2 of Palestine.

68 years ago they could have negotiated for 1/3rd of Palestine.

Lather rinse repeat.

In a few years they will be able to negotiate for a couple city blocks of Palestine.

As Above So Below
The Palestinians didn't want a two state solution, many muslim countries did not want that either, but the fact remains Israel isn't going anywhere they must accept that fact, if the whole region was more civil and worked together there would have been a solution and peace in the region...

Well.

Trump has announced the obvious.

Now we will find out if all the people whinning and stamping their feet, are going to just continue whinning and stamping their feet.

That's a foreign minister.

What does the local minister say?

Most people know my position on Palestine, the world would be better off if we pushed them all into the sea and started over with a batch of good people, or better yet left it vacant to preserve the archeological sites.

No one wants Palestinians living next them, and the jews have a knack for making trouble and enemies that is similarly impressive.

As an alternative we could arm the Palestinians and make it a winner take all battle until only one side is left.

This sh*t has gone on long enough and it is time to end it.

Or we could give them a year to negotiate a partition agreement and nuke Palestine if they don't solve it.

Or we could think outside the box and have Israel destroy Iran and give Iran to the Palestinians, killing two stones with one bird.

I have had it and want the problem solved and don't care how.

I think what makes the situation unusual is there are extremely influential, wealthy groups with agendas on either side. They do not directly have to live with the consequences. An increasingly weary population is caught in the middle.
Trumps action, aimed at paying a political debt to one, will not further a solution.

Living with that degree of security obviously impacts peoples lives and produces paranoia. On a flight out from Tel Aviv airport I was questioned for half an hour before being allowed to get on the plane, the reason? on the last day I drove to Meggido (now a green farmed valley) to see if I got any sense of future events from the 'plain of Armageddon'. The security staff were puzzled why any one would want to go there.

Trump's predecessors took action that pleased the diplomatic corp.

They had 70 years to negotiate a solution,
How well has that worked?

Israel is solving the problem, that they could not, by reducing the land available for negotiation to zero.

The map below is not entirely accurate, the green area is somewhat smaller today.

The progressive globalists who infest the state department have proven themselves by and large clueless and ineffective.

Tillerson is doing Trump and America a favor by downsizing the state department to its necessary functions.

Only reason why the Arab World is kicking up is because they hate Israel.

Realistically it is a non issue.

Israel foreign policy was inherited from the British. The British philosophy was to keep everybody at each others throats so they were too busy fighting with each other to fight with you.

Israel (America's "Friend" in the middle east) has given other countries reason to dislike them.

Well, No

I've read somewhere ( I cant remember now ) that the moving process will take several years.. All the security your US diplomats need over there, and a suitable reinforced building ... so Easy huh ??, nah :)

Refer to my map of Palestine.

By the time the US has moved Israel will have cleared the area of undesirables (they are almost done now).

Security won't be that big an issue.

Israel might even donate some land. They are pretty anxious to have US move.

Ethnic cleansing.. U.S as a strong backer of Israel is responsible aswell. The evicted palestinians should be welcomed with open
arms in the states.. Or is the plan to send them up north to Scandinavia ??

We received plenty of Irakies after the cowboys showdown in the gulf.
