THE BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES: The Radar Dilemma

... it's true that I am a strong proponent of the ETH, and believe that this is one of those cases that strongly point toward that reality,... but as with most cases I cannot be 100% sure that this was an example of an extraterrestrial visitation, but I believe that the available testimony and recorded events make that scenario a lot more viable than any prosaic explanation put forward so far mate.

That is a good link......never knew the types of radar and was familiar with the radar facilities up and down the coast.

Low flying triangle UFO photographed by Pennsylvania witness

MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident occurred on January 7, 2015, while the witness was driving home from work along northwest-bound Gulph Road through Valley Forge Park heading toward Phoenixville and away from King of Prussia.

“I noticed three very bright lights just over the tree line in the distance about the time I passed the Washington Memorial Chapel,” the witness stated. “The lights were side-by-side.”

The witness first thought the lights were an airplane, but as she drove closer, the lights appeared to be too bright for an airplane.

“I actually started to think that maybe they had built a tower in the park with lights at the top of it, but I knew that wasn’t logical because I would have seen this tower/monument by now. I also started to realize that whatever it was – it wasn’t stationary. It was moving, but slowly.”

Once the witness had an unobstructed view, she began taking photographs.

Based on the two images I'd agree it is inconclusive.

Well this one has nothing to do with the one I was commenting on in the darkness.

When and where was this taken?

A Uruguay witness near Bekode reported discovering an unknown object in photos taken after climbing a 1.5 km hill, according to testimony in Case 83772 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and his cousin climbed to the top of the hill at 10:54 a.m. on May 6, 2017.

“We took many single photos in my Samsung Galaxy S3 which has an 8 MP camera,” the witness stated. “I needed to take a photo of us both and I didn’t have a tripod, so I kept my phone on a nearby rock and set a timer and took this photo. The object seems to stop and hover because if it was moving, we would have got a shaken image, which we didn’t. When we were climbing, we stopped for eating when my cousin’s phone started taking photos on its own. I think this is because of some kind of emp emission (electro magenetic pulse) which messes with our phone. His phone was an iPhone 4S. We only saw the object after taking the photo approximately at 7 p.m. IST ON May 6, 2017. I was looking through the photos and found this thing. I thought it was an alien because I believed in aliens and I was doing a lot of research about UFOs and aliens. I was happy and amazed and I cant believe I actually came over a UFO myself after doing so much research about them.”

Kumaresan Ramanathan for MUFON International closed this case as an Unknown – Other.

Robert Spearing for MUFON International reviewed the photos.

“The object is roughly diamond-shaped with the longer point on the left side,” Spearing wrote in the report. “It is assumed the object was travelling right to left. It seems to have a rough exterior but negativizing and embossing the image shows the bottom to be very smooth. It appears grey and metallic. It is probably less that one mile away and possibly within 1,000 meters of the witness. This makes it bigger than a bird probably.

“Conclusion: This is an authentic photo of very high quality. The object cannot be confused with a bird or a plane. It is clearly anomalous, metallic and probably under intelligent control. No windows or cockpit were seen. Possibly a drone but it is not in the shape of any known drone.”

Disc-shaped object photographed low over Texas
11/8/2017

MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was loading PVC pipe into the back of his pick-up parked at the diesel pump at the VP gas station and convenience store on Highway at 1:49 p.m. on January 21, 2017, when the incident began. Texas MUFON Field Investigator Kenneth Jordan took the report directly from the witness.

“Witness was facing southeast when he first saw the object to the southeast,” Jordan stated. “Its silver reflective color caught his attention (mid-day, bright sunlight). It was hovering approximately 450 feet southeast of witness's position, about 300-400 feet off the ground, to the right, southeast of Highway 87.”

The witness had no idea what it could be, so he continued to watch it.

Assuming it is as far away as they say it doesn't appear to be a bird or an aircraft......but since the highest point in Uruguay is 514 meters I have my doubts. Saying "probably under intelligent control" is an assumption not based on any evidence presented..

Where are the rest of the images?

Yes probably is definitely an assumption.

Hi guys, I just thought that i'd highlight this famous old photographic case from way back on 7th July in 1947 , just 22 days before Kenneth Arnold's famous description of the 9 craft that he witnesses over mt. Rainier that ..if you heed his own words , look strikingly familiar to The Rhodes UFO pictures.

...Now I have to admit that the Rhodes pictures [the above one being the central focus in this case] have been positively ubiquitous in the genre of ufology, and just like anyone else with even the slightest interest in the paranormal scene will have , I too came across these pictures pretty early on in life... and am here to say that because they did not reach my [then] personal criteria of believability... I summarily tossed them away with the proverbial pinch of salt, agreeing that they were poor fakes made by means of some mundane prop such as the often touted 'shoe-heel' that you still see espoused today.
But gradually as the years and decades of reading and general excogitation on the subject, I have learned not to be too hasty in my flippant assessment of cases that have stood the test of time ...specially when they have come through many decades relatively unscathed.
in this case for instance... sure the pictures do not scream out 'classic flying saucer photographs', but does one's personal bias really exclude authenticity? ... No! of course not. And the fact that the various sites that feature the usual crowd of ufological dilettantes that will always say that any UFO picture has been thoroughly debunked , when they certainly have not will insist that these pictures are from 'a long established hoax' is to be taken very lightly indeed. Yes indeed they will take pleasure in pointing out that the airforce whitewash man declared the pictures to be fake for the bluebook and various other gloss-over committees [but then would you really expect any different?] , but then you could always point back at them showing them the direction of the exact opposite conclusions derived after analysis from more independent examiners such as Macabbee or the guys at Flying Saucer Watch, but then I know all too well just how insistent the common hard line debunker can be when throwing around the "only debunkers can use the scientific investigation title".. exasperating I know, ... but my advice is not to engage in fruitless arguments with these professional inconvenient-fact-obfuscators , ..no indeed, just calmly insist that they show you the proof!
... And finally, yes I did fall into the trap of believing the obligatory undermining of the witnesses character by those who's interest it serves to besmirch the credibility of the subject. ... For a while anyway! ... But closer inspection of this guy "William A. Rhodes" and his [at first look .. seemingly uninspiring] photos and the authorities efforts to falsely discredit this seemingly otherwise intelligent professional man... makes me pretty sure that there's a lot more to this case than just some inconsequential old UFO snap taken by some obscure Joe Pubic guy that the relevant authorities could just brush aside into obscurity.
