This picture is actually from July 16, 1988 at 14:00. ... but it is new to me. And I have to say that I may have seen it before but unimpressed, just let it pass me by... but now after 'rediscovering' the picture and seeing the undoubted quality of the accompanying provenance ... I now see this photo as being of immense importance on this thread.
... check out the backstory and decide for yourselves... ufo - UFOS at close sight: pilot's UFO sighting and photograph, San Jacinto 1988 (patrickgross.org)
.. and here is a link to several analyses of the picture, including our old friend Richard Haines' sterling effort for NARCAP
UFO Photo of San Jacinto (exmfpropulsions.com)

    Cheers.

Lonnie Zamora's UFO ( April 24th 1964 ) looks like the Tic Tac ufo's plaguing US Warships at the moment.

Have you seen the one pic that was released of all of the UFO pics taken during Exercise Mainbrace? It is a Tic Tac. Skeptics say weather balloons --but... They... They are... The... Weather balloons..

Is it swamp gas , temperature inversions or maybe Mrs McGillicuddies cabbage leaves reflecting moonlight onto the clouds. What weather balloon can drop 80,000 feet in one second ? 70 years of denial and now its all true !!!! They need hanging out of the trees.

Bit hard for them ( The Pentagon ) to ignore this one and shelve it as mass hysteria , these are their very own Naval Aviators seeing this stuff one guy said he had been seeing them for years. Something that can go from 0 to 18,000 mph in a second now that's something I bet the USA military would love to have.

Except Lonnie's landed on legs with very terrestrial sounding rockets not dissimilar to a moon lander. Let's see, I'm holding my cloth measuring tape up to the TV and , yes, carry the one divide by two, yup - them tic tacs were going 28000 miles an hour. No legs. No rockets. Same for Cash Landrum - it just blundered around firing off what sounded like retro rockets or some terrestrial sounding control mechanism. A very hot and radioactive one apparently.

Maybe the Tic Tacs have advanced a bit since 1952.

Cash-Landrum incident was in 1980. The Pentagon did spend alot of money developing nuclear rockets back in the day, maybe this was an ill fated test of one.

I was given this photo by a woman who told me she had spotted lights in the sky over the river where she lives , she also stated that in the foreground of the photo when she had the photo developed she could see an alien face (?) I can't really see anything , maybe someone else can . The enlargements ( done by myself ) at the top of the photo show the objects she saw which appear as small lights in the sky. Any comments ?
