Two sentries stationed at outlying posts were frightened by two glowing white man-like figures that suddenly appeared, making huge leaps and bounds. No other information.

Two guards (involved in a previous similar incident) encountered a glowing white figure that made huge leaps and at one time approached and touched their faces. No other information.

Two ladies saw strange lights round the chapel gable end, as well as what one took to be a small figure of the Blessed Virgin about a foot and a half in height. It was the vigil of the feast of the Epiphany and they had gone there in the expectation of seeing something. The lights grew dim and brightened again. Two policemen were also present and they too reported seeing lights on the gable end. They were convinced that the lights could not have been produced artificially, and in any case found no one hiding nearby, despite a thorough search. (Interpreted as a false Marian vision).

Near Hot Springs, Arkansas

Riding northwest of Hot Springs in rainy weather, Constable J. J. Sumpter & Deputy Sheriff McLemore saw a brilliant light descend to earth. They approached to within 100 yards, when their horses refused to go further. They challenged 2 persons carrying lanterns; one a man with a long dark beard, came forward to say that he & a young man & woman were traveling in an airship. This, cigar shaped & 60 ft long looked “just like the cuts that have appeared in the papers recently.” The young man was filling a “sack” with water; the woman held an umbrella. The bearded man invited the police officers to take a ride, but they declined. He gave his destination as Nashville, Tennessee. The men rode off & did not see the airship leave. They gave a sworn affidavit of the above.

A creature resembling a big black dog sauntered past some local detectives in the area of Lincoln Avenue. The “dog” purportedly said “Good morning!” and disappeared in a thin, greenish vapor.

A police officer spotted a flying “jabberwock” with glowing eyes, and soon residents of neighboring towns were finding mysterious tracks in the snow, apparently related to the creature.

A local police officer spotted a “devil bird” with one foot like a horse’s the other like a mule’s. It had a horn on its head and an ostrich’s tail, and it was eleven feet long.

The local resident magistrate was prospecting for gold just above the junction of the Potato River when he came upon several short reddish brown fur covered creatures that retreated slowly into the jungle without once taking their eyes off him.

Several witnesses---among them the vicar, the mayor and a police officer---saw a cigar shaped object hovering at 30 yards altitude. A man appeared at a lateral door and was heard shouting some words in an unknown language. The opening closed, and the object accelerated & was lost to sight.

Soldier Boleslaw Lesniakiewicz had decided to spend the night at a ruined brickyard when around midnight a strange voice and the sounds of a little bell jingling woke him up. He got his rifle and stepped out of the brickyard. His horse was acting very uneasy. Suddenly he noticed a big, white dog like creature, which slowly came closer and closer. Overcome with fear he shot at the dog. At the same time a bright flash of blue-violet light illuminated him and he lost consciousness. When he woke up it was high noon. His horse was covered in strange foam. He suffered from strong headaches in the next two weeks.

Crimean Peninsula, Ukraine

During the Russian civil war, a mobile Red Army group was moving along a local road in the rugged mountains of the Crimean Peninsula. There were a total of five soldiers including one woman. They were moving in a cart wagon and were armed with rifles and “Maksim” machine guns. Suddenly they noticed a lighted area on the side of the road and the stopped near the road prepared their weapons and began to check the area. They soon came upon a strange dome-shaped object on the ground and several tall figures walking near the object. The figures were described as dressed in a kind of armored suit, resembling chainmaille, The figures were about 2 meters in height, or taller. Thinking that these were foreign enemies the group prepared to fire upon the strangers with their Maksim machine guns but were suddenly blinded by a bright flash of light and knocked down loosing consciousness. When they returned to their senses again, the object and the strange figures had disappeared.

Near Krasnogorskoye, Altay region, West Siberia, Russia

Two military officers on special assignment in the area, T. Barabashin from the counterintelligence branch of the VChK (predecessor to the KGB) and I. Shifer also a secret service officer were performing a search in this remote area. Both men, riding in horses had neared a remote mountainous gorge surrounded by thick forests when they suddenly stumbled upon an extraordinary scene, something that they had never seen before in their lives. They encountered a group of “humans” wearing dirty robes performing what appeared to be “slave” work, extracting ore from a nearby mine. All the men were behaving in a strange manner, they all had expressionless glassy eyes and all moved around like zombies or robots, displaying a total lack of emotion, performing the arduous job in a totally monotonous manner. Over the group of men hovered in midair a tetrahedron shaped object. The object appeared small, the length of its lower section was no more than 60cm (it was evidently a non-piloted device). This object flew over the “work force” to different locations, descending and ascending, apparently observing everyone’s movements very closely. After watching the incredible scene for a few minutes, both men hid behind a large stone amid some bushes, still observing the scene from a distance fearing exposure the whole time. At this point the men could also now see several cigar shaped objects hovering in the sky. These resembled like flying “barrels” about 20-25 meters long and approximately 5 meters in diameter. These objects were apparently securing the perimeter and guarding the entire area. The stunned observers could also see other flying craft---small oval-shaped machines, which flew about emitting bright beams of blue light. The beams of blue lights were at times projected towards the ground. Somehow the men understood that these objects were some kind of “combat flying machines”. Deeper in the gorge the men saw several other types of unknown machines: some pyramidal in shape and very tall, apparently dozens of meters in height, those were apparently the “main” flying craft. Near the large pyramid shaped objects, Barabashin and Shifer saw a group of tall humanoid entities dressed in shiny metallic like outfits, they appeared to be doing something but because of the distance the witnesses could not tell exactly what they were doing. Afraid of being found out both men left their hideout and quickly returned to their VChK office and reported their stunning discovery. But several days later when a heavily armed detachment was sent to check on the information they found nothing, nothing seemed out of place and they could see no traces. So both men were then accused of providing false data to superior officers.

An enormous black bat-like creature with a wingspan of six feet (1.8 meters) was reported flying around a West Drayton Church during the night of a full moon. Several terrified witnesses watched the creature dive into the churchyard, where it roamed the tombs. When two policemen gave chase through the church cemetery, the creature let out a loud blood curling screech, and flew into the air to evade them.

Otter Cliffs Mount Desert Island, Maine

At the US Navy compass station the radio operator on duty was monitoring a violent electrical storm when a lighting bolt hit the cable outside the building. The bolt went through the transmission key and landed inside the man’s abdomen. A fiery light seemed to shine from the witness’s stomach as a soft light went through the station roof, which then formed a field of light that surrounded the now paralyzed witness and extended into a seven ft radius. Suddenly there were three flashes of light and three majestic looking men appeared standing in front of the witness. They wore shining robes and were smiling. Each bowed at the witness without speaking. The three men described as having very fine features, with light cream textured complexions and extremely bright eyes. They wore soft doeskin form fitting boots. The being to the left of the witness pointed his finger at the fiery ball of light on the witness abdomen and in a flash of light it leaped into the being’s hand that then tossed it to the being next to him, that then tossed it to the third being who threw it into the copper mesh screening of the station, the fiery ball went up in a shower of sparks and disappeared. All three men then smiled, bowed again, and disappeared in three flashes of light.

Time: midnight
The witness, a naval officer at the time, was enroute to Havana alone in his car when the headlights suddenly illuminated a two-foot tall figure standing on the roadway. Thinking that it was a lost child he stopped the car and approached the figure on foot. It was dark and the witness could not see any features, he then attempted to pick up the figure but found that he could not, since it was extremely heavy as if made out of lead. Frightened the witness ran back into his vehicle and left the area at high speed.

Several witnesses watched a “zeppelin” shaped object moving at great speed over the sea. One of the witnesses was a soldier that had a telescope. He said he was able to see people inside a cabin wearing strange helmets.

Date: July 25, 1936
Time: night
Lieutenant J V and two other soldiers were returning to base after a scouting mission when a potent white light suddenly surrounded them. Moments later they found themselves only about 4 meters away from two tall white garbed humanoids, which stared at the men. Apparently a short telepathic conversation between the men and humanoids ensued. To this day J V is not sure if the language was Spanish or if it was some type of maverick mental communication. Several minutes later, the two humanoids and the bright white light vanished. (This occurred during the bloody Spanish Civil war).

Guadalajara, Spain

Time: 2330
A military man & his assistant saw a strong white light, which came from a dark lens shaped object about 35 ft in diameter, hovering about 6 ft above the ground 60 yards away. Without sound, a sort of column bearing a platform started to come down from the center of the object, & 2 moving silhouettes were observed on this platform. A circle of blue light was projected on the ground & focused on the witnesses, who felt a sensation of chill. The platform rose again, and the upper & lower sections of the object started spinning in opposite directions. The whole craft glowed with an intense white light & flew away.

Near Giza, Egypt

During WWII a British soldier, Mr. B., in a supply unit was in transit and had stopped in Egypt. The unit was camped about 70 miles from the Pyramids. The main witness had retired to his army tent; it was a very warm night so he slept with his head outside the opening of the tent flap. Mr. B. said he had a vision, he felt his eyes must have been open. He was watching the stars. Soon he saw an enormous “star” which changed into the shape of a cross. Out of the star came two “matchstick” men. They reminded him of something Prohart would paint. He then remembers lying on a horizontal table. The two figures attended to his body. The figures had no distinctive features; they had legs, arms with a non-face. While lying on the table he noticed a dazzling white light. When he was returned to his tent he felt shattered and feels to this day they took part of him away.

There's the story of British Policeman Alan Godfrey's UFO Abduction Incident & Original Hypnosis Tape

Commentators are saying the description of the UFO matches that of another sighting by a farmer Edwin Fuhr.
