Well his name is a shit sandwich without the bread as far as i am concerned. Be sure to peruse the Gene Steinberg's Financial Shenanigans @ Paracast forums thread to bring yourself up to speed here
My perspective at the moment is very different than most of the posts there and I'd rather not get mired down all of that. However if there is anything more serious that you think I should know about I'd appreciate you sharing as I may be getting more involved there too, and don't want any unpleasant surprises.

Hi to everyone. I decided to join the fun and hope to be able to contribute in a positive way to the forum :cool8: .
I want to welcome you to our little Fourm. I have found your post in the past to be valuable. I respect you and your opinions. I look forward to your input. I will NOT be discussing on one topic. But will be happy to discuss anything UFO related. I look forward to your input on my Arnold sighting.

Welcome!

Just my unsolicited two cents - if you are considering a more formal ongoing partnership with Gene Steinberg, I'd encourage you (or anyone in that position) to:

- Look seriously at why his last two standing co-hosts left and what each had to say about their experiences working with him.

- Make sure you read what has been dug up about his past business dealings and patterns of online behavior. That's far easier to say than do - reading through hundreds of comments at The UFO Trail blog, Jeremy Vaeni's Wordpress site and others - but among all the invective and loathing are some valid findings and reports.

I think it's all about knowing what you are getting into. But that said best of luck to you with whatever you do, and again, welcome.

I was thinking about dropping you a line about joining awhile back but I know it can be hard to reach you, so to speak.

Thanks for the thought. I can always be reached at the USI site. I eventually get around to checking all my messages.

Thanks for the words of caution. I've had some dealings with Gene in the past ( bought some advertising for USI ) and he never stiffed me. In fact he's been generous, and I don't begrudge anyone wanting to monetize their website. It all depends on how it's done.

I got banned once on the Paracast Forums and didn't consider it fair, but it's his site and the absence did me good anyway. I learned a lot by participating there on how to better navigate forum etiquette. I've also communicated with both of Gene's former co-hosts in an effort to establish the specifics of their dissatisfaction.

From what I've been able to gather, everyone involved could have made better decisions and should take their own fair share of responsibility for how things turned out. Nobody is perfect and so far, from what I can tell, I haven't uncovered anything that isn't forgivable or that can't be worked around so as to avoid the same mistakes others have made.

Personally, I think a whole thread dedicated to trashing Gene is a bit much. But if there is anything more serious that should be brought to my attention that I don't know about. I'd also appreciate knowing, and if anyone really wants my perspective on specific issues they're welcome to ask. I don't BS anyone around and always try to be fair minded.

Thanks for your kind comments. I'll root around and see if I can find the post on your sighting.

I'm a heretic when it comes to this subject. Time travel is simply impossible as it's portrayed in all sci-fi scenarios I've seen so far, and space itself has never been proven to be curved. In fact there's logical evidence that indicates it's not. However that doesn't mean any of the math is wrong. It just means literal interpretations of spacetime are wrong. All arguments I've encountered so far opposing this position have been either insufficient or irrelevant to the specific points made.

So let's start here with a diagram illustrating how the math for "curved space" ( which is really just gravitational influence ) can be mapped within a perfectly symmetrical x,y,z spatial coordinate system, which logically is more attune to what space itself is, and how a straight line can be charted between two massive objects within that system. If "space" itself is "curved" this would not be possible. Clearly however, it is possible. Therefore space itself cannot be curved.

This diagram shows the "rubber sheet" analogy for what it really is, not a warping of space itself, but the way gravitational forces cause objects to behave in space. I'll also reiterate the point I've made on The Paracast as well, that space itself has never been measured or observed. It can't be objectively measured or observed because it's an abstract idea.

Only stuff in space can be measured and observed. All scientific evidence that space is curved comes from those measurements, not from measuring or observing space itself.

Did you read all the factual evidence about Gene's continual begging, often based on outrageous fabrications? This is not equivalent to just "trashing" someone, like an unpopular kid in highschool being taunted by the popular kids. This is a man who has been conning honest people out of money for over a decade based on a continual stream of lies. If Gene's life has really been as constantly "living on the edge" of destitution and doom as he constantly claims, Gene should write an autobiography. It might make a great mini-series on TLC or some other cable channel that hosts shows like HOARDERS and other sad people. I think you still seem to be wearing rose colored glasses. Have you bothered to even contact David Biedny or Chris O'Brien to talk about their experiences?
