I was underwhelmed at first viewing and haven't watched it a second time yet. BUT there is some interesting content especially the multi-dimensional aspects and the tech used to traverse between dimensions. That stuff could be real. That could be either "revelation of the method" or "predictive programming" or both.

Lucy by director Luc Besson is one of my all time favorite movies. That the dialog and music in Valerian were so lame leads me to believe that he/they (his handlers) had a much younger audience in mind. Yeah, lamo.

    What is anyone's opinion?

Lucy is just an excuse to watch Scarlett Johansson for an hour and a half.
