North Korea is using an ancient historical example for their combat training

Nobody shooting Kalasnikov can be a "crack shot". CPE is probably bigger tan 2.0 MOA.

Anihow, some economist calculated value of mineral resources in Donbas region that is being taken by Russia to about $10 trillion. So, in comparison then $300 B frozen in US & EU banks looks like small change. Please skip to 9:29

Mexican cartels targeting Border Patrol agents with kamikaze drones, explosives amid Trump crackdown

Mexican drug cartels are ordering their members to target U.S. Border Patrol agents with kamikaze drones and other explosives amid a crackdown at the southern border by the Trump administration.

An internal memo titled "Officer Safety Alert" cited social media posts and other sources for the warning to federal agents, the New York Post reported. Agents were reminded to be "cognizant of their surroundings" and should be wearing their ballistic armor and utilizing their long firearms.

"On February 1, 2025, the El Paso Sector Intelligence and Operations Center (EPT-IOC) received information advising that Mexican cartel leaders have authorized the deployment of drones equipped with explosives to be used against US Border Patrol agents and US military personnel currently working along the border with Mexico," the memo, obtained by the newspaper, states.

"It is recommended that all US Border Patrol agents and DoD personnel working along the border report any sighting of drones to their respective leadership staff and the EPT-IOC," it said.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

News Nation, which first reported the memo, reported TikTok posts and other social media sites used by Mexican drug cartels have also advised illegal immigrants to spit and urinate on ICE agents and defecate in their vehicles.

Other posts have urged assassins to target border personnel.

How Trump Could Use Military Force Against Cartels In Mexico

Regardless of what Trump decides, U.S. military efforts to fight the cartels on the ground in Mexico, or at all, would greatly benefit from the approval of the host nation. That does not seem to be forthcoming from the Mexican government at this point. This would be another complicating factor for any assault, even a one-off operation, as it could end up with the Mexican military confronting U.S. soldiers if things go deeply awry.

Odd little factoid I have for no apparent reason, P Villa suffered badly from rheumatoid arthritis. No idea if that's true of not.

I post this to say that problems at the border are not new nor are our responses. The military expedition I am talking about was not successful in capturing Villa but served several purposes. Historically speaking if we think we have a serious problem down there we deal with it, unless we suffer under feckless leadership, which we have for some time.

On January 11, 1916, sixteen American employees of the American Smelting and Refining Company were removed from a train near Santa Isabel, Chihuahua, and summarily stripped and executed.

At about 4:00 am on March 9, 1916, Villa's troops attacked Columbus, New Mexico, and Camp Furlong, the US Army post there, where four troops (about 240 soldiers) of the 13th Cavalry Regiment had been stationed since September 1912. Ten civilians and eight soldiers were killed in the attack, and two civilians and six soldiers wounded.[12] The raiders burned the town, stole horses and mules, and seized machine guns, ammunition, and merchandise before fleeing back to Mexico.

Fuming over huge losses, Kim Jong Un pulls the plug

North Korean troops have not fought in the Kursk region for weeks, fueling speculation about their possible withdrawal, according to South Korean intelligence. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sent a contingent of 12,000 soldiers to Russia late last year, but the heavy losses suffered in just a few months have reportedly angered him. While Kim Jong Un has expressed concern over the fate of his troops, it remains unclear whether North Korean forces will return to the front lines.

On Tuesday, South Korea’s intelligence service reported that North Korean forces have been absent from the battlefield since mid-January. "One reason for this may be the occurrence of many casualties, but the exact details are still being monitored," the agency said in a statement. Kyiv has also drawn the same conclusion, though the possibility of North Korean troops returning to combat remains uncertain.

Trump peace plan for Ukraine' is 'leaked': Talks with Putin, a ceasefire by Easter and an end to Zelensky's NATO dream among details in report

'Trump peace plan for Ukraine' is 'leaked': Talks with Putin, ceasefire by Easter and an

US president Donald Trump will try to force Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire with Russia by Easter under a peace plan, according to a report. Trump, who has long claimed that he would be able to negotiate an ending to the brutal invasion of Ukraine in a single day, is said to be working to end the war within 100 days.

The unconfirmed plans, reported by Ukrainian outlet Strana, have been doing the rounds in 'political and diplomatic circles' in Ukraine, and will include a ceasefire by April 20 that would freeze Russia's steady advance, a ban on Ukraine from joining NATO, and a demand for Kyiv to accept Russian sovereignty on annexed land. On top of this, Ukrainian troops will be made to leave Russia's Kursk region, where it launched a counteroffensive in August, while a contingent of European soldiers, which could include British troops, would be asked to police a demilitarised zone. American troops will not be involved in this contingent.

The EU will reportedly be asked to assist Ukraine in its reconstruction efforts, which may cost as much as $486billion (£392billion) over the next decade according to the German Marshall Fund thinktank. Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has denied the existence of the ceasefire plans and the White House has yet to officially comment on the reports.

But if confirmed, it would see Zelensky and Vladimir Putin sharing a phone call within days before the warring pair meet either in late February or early March. An official ceasefire declaration would then be made on April 20. A declaration on the agreed parameters for ending the war would then be released by May 9, after which Kyiv would be asked not to extend martial law or mobilise troops.

Trump also wants to set up an International Peace Conference, mediated by other prominent nations, that would gather to help forge an agreement to end the brutal war that has so far killed over 45,000 Ukrainian soldiers, according to Zelensky, and an estimated 840,000 Russian troops according to Ukrainian intelligence agencies.

Hamas's astonishing response as Trump threatens to 'unleash Hell' if they don't release ALL remaining hostages by noon on Saturday

Hamas has astonishingly lashed out at Donald Trump's threat to 'let all hell break out' if the terror group does not return all the remaining Israeli hostages on Saturday. A Hamas spokesman said there was no place 'for the language of threats' - roughly 14 months after the terror group slaughtered more than 1,100 Israelis during the October 7 incursion, while also kidnapping and raping hundreds. Last night the group said it was indefinitely scrapping a scheduled hostage release, claiming Israel had violated the ceasefire agreement that was agreed last month.

I kid you not, I was reading Trump's post on TruthSocial, when this semi-transparent window poped up on my desktop and blocked Trump's message. It actually blocked whole of my Chrome browser. I will have to reboot computer to get rid of this popup, that can't be closed. I wander if this was deliberately to prevent me reading Trump's message.
