Ignore the news, monitor troupes movement.
You could make a moral case for bombing the People's Republic of China, or the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea, so why not bomb those too?I admit being skeptical of a negotiated solution but know that decades of such have led to this. Doesn't anyone remember how far back this goes? Our embassy in Beirut bombed, the Marine barracks destroyed costing hundred of lives, genocide of Christians, our diplomats abducted, tortured, killed. 444 days of hostage drama followed by a humiliating failure in a rescue attempt. This list could go on for a very long time listing one atrocity after another. They have admitted nuclear ambitions and have been allowed to create a substantial missile capability - who in their right minds thinks anything other than the blatantly obvious was going to happen after they achieved their goal?
Whatever happens I really have no problem with blowing them right back into the seventh century their Sharia law seems to want and I am not hearing any nation building nonsense. I don't think they've yet felt the full weight of what CENTCOM has to offer and staying out the range of shore based missiles makes sense. Yes, I understand it illustrates the threat. Once the Iranian proxies run through their stores how will they be resupplied? Up until now it's been as simple as Amazon Prime, not so much anymore. Certainly not in the quantities they are used to or with the frequency.
To elminate the Iranian regime would require full commitment. The trouble is that Trump is hesistant and is trying to balance escalation in the war against its economic impact and resulting domestic voter sentiment. This is the most unpopular start to a war in the history of measuring voter sentiment in the United States. He did not even have the American people on his side. Allied democratic leaders are also facing similar constraints, so it is little wonder that they refuse to join in.There is a surge in petrol theft across UK because of hike in petrol prices:

Well, regardless of what I think, it would appear that the Trump Adminstration believes it. The Republican party can do its own primary research on what they think the effects of the war are on voter sentiment.I wouldn't be so quick to estimate US voter opinion based on the inane current media reporting as their accuracy rate is abysmal.
Indeed. The ceasefire has been extended indefinitely.Tomorrow should be an interesting news day.
They have already announced that it will not be until there is a permanent ceasefire agreed between the belligerents. So when's that big European task force supposed to show up? Easier said than done.
