I miss the days when news was someone in a suit telling you what's going on but now there's a distinct credibility gap, half the time a rage baiting machine with an agenda.
Only once did I see any sort of Muslim public demonstration around here and it was specifically related to some halal market, one that's been there for years and still is. No clue what that's about at all but it seemed awfully specific, maybe there was a problem with the landlord IDK. However I regularly see demonstrators along the roadside in front of Marist College in Poughkeepsie and to a person they are all 50+ doughy white people carrying on about __________________. Fill in the blank, seems more of a senior activity to me. Lately it's Palestine, before that BLM, generally Trump.
I have family members who are highly intelligent but are shut ins and are literally being programmed by their TVs to the point where it develops into an irrational rage. I have seen many times where they are unaware of various news events because their chosen propaganda sources do not report them. I cringed a bit with various outlets being banned from the White House but also see the direct result of the crap they spew and can fully understand it. I'd imagine the idiot du jour up at the college have been similarly 'motivated' by their media inputs.
In places like NYC and other liberal sanctuary cities none of that surprises me at all. The antisemitism genuinely pisses me off but quite a number Jews voted for the administration that's fueling it so they called down their own thunder. It's just hard to see innocent people going about their business being surrounded and getting their asses kick for no reason other than their religion. If the shoe were on the other foot the Rage Machine would be in full swing. I know Michigan is rife with Muslim infection but generally speaking in NY state you don't see any of it at all. I think much of it is performative rather than genuine, like Antifa in many cases deliberately organized and paid for.
As for being armed, despite selling off a large number of firearms and ammo I am still well prepared. For what I don't know but I'm certainly not expecting armed conflict of any kind. What I do expect is more Rage and talk of Palestinian 'genocide' for the next few weeks as the midterms approach.
