'God like inter-dimensional beings...'.....perhaps , and some like Dr Vallee have mentioned such possibilities using different terminology but then what is the point of seemingly absurd encounters like that one and others in the ufo literature?
Are they simply having some fun at our expense? What's wrong with this picture...?

Well..lets deconstruct those points:
1.Tourism is a human concept...we have no idea if such a thing means anything to an alien culture.
2.There is no evidence our genetics are being altered...speculation from a few so-called abduction experts based on only some events and again that has nothing to do with the above encounter per se.
3.Again mining doesn't explain bizarre behavior in many cases of contact.
4.If they wanted our planet, then what are they waiting for?
5.The whole cattle mute thing is pure speculation and why would aliens want cow parts to begin with....why not use human parts to experiment? It doesn't make any sense. Howe, like so many others in the ufo circus, has fallen down the rabbit hole years ago.
6.There is zero evidence any treaty happened...more wild tales from disinfo sources ..none of it confirmed in any way .
7. What else....? Try the fact that there are so many holes in the ETH model that you could drive a truck through it.

The problem with that line of thinking is that we are ascribing human ways of acting to aliens....,
do you really think that advanced aliens would do such...silly things, even assuming they had human emotions like ours?

Again you are equating human concepts and actions with what aliens or metaphysical beings might do.
There simply is no reason to assume such a thing.
It's far more likely that the way 'they' act is related somehow to human consciousness and our own expectations.

Very interesting piece.....a lot of Dr Vallee's ideas are in there and I'm sure he influenced the writer......
While I think some of the themes mentioned are possible I'm not sure I agree with all of his terminology and the way he presents it. Our understanding is no doubt biased due to human consciousness and perceptions. Kant ,the German philosopher, once said 'that we can never know a thing in itself' because of the way our minds process information and what we 'see'. In other words Reality exists in a non interpretive state but our human limitations don't allow us to perceive it in that manner but filtered through our senses which necessarily makes it acceptable to them. As such what we are experiencing daily is not the 'thing in itself' but something close. So it's likely the same applies even in a more pronounced manner with these high strangeness events.
Dr Vallee once jokingly said that he would be disappointed if it turns out that it's only space aliens visiting us because the alternatives could be much more interesting.
