Most of the snowfall was north of us, we got a dusting, not much of an event, I was hoping for a couple inches...The next possible snow day is forecast to happen in 3 days, on Thursday...

Ugh, it was 10°F this morning. Cleared the snow and tried something I always wanted to. I have a really powerful electric leaf blower and this is light fluffy frozen snow. Meh. It helped a little but didn't do that much so I guess I'll have to stick to the snowthrower & shovel method until I perfect my forcefields.

And, when your ass is thoroughly frozen that's a good time to thaw it in a hot tub, just saying ...........

It was 12 degrees at my house this morning, the temperature did not get to 32 degrees until lunchtime...The rest of the week and weekend is more of the same with Saturday forecast to be even colder...Come on springtime weather...

I was just sitting in the hot tub watching a woodchuck go about its business from about 80 yards away. I take it as a good sign that we'll have nice weather soon.

Shortly after it disappeared over the ridge a surprisingly large beautiful red fox cruised around out back a while then followed Charles over the ridge too - he may be having a rough morning.

The critters and birds of the land have been out and about and it definitely feels like Spring. But today we're getting a powerful Northeaster and it's piling up fast out there.

I have to work 9-1 today and will have no problem getting there 4WD, the storm's supposed to be done by noon. Last time this happened nobody showed at the store at all so despite reassurances to the contrary if I get there and find it empty I will waste no further time.

More importantly I have a 3:30 appointment with an orthopedist. If he found the feathered shaft of a giant spear sticking out of my shoulder I wouldn't be surprised, that's what it feels like. My left arm isn't good for much right and I first hope the doctor still makes the appointment and I don't have to wait any longer. Bursitis, tendonitis, torn rotator cuff - something unpleasant that I won't like the answer to.
