On May 30, Mexico City experienced its hottest day in the last 99 years as thermometers reached 31.7°C (89.1°F), surpassing the historical maximum temperature of 31.2°C (88.2°F) recorded in 1919.

0.5°C increase in 99 years is pretty impressive.

We get 100/100 (37.8°C) weather here (much warmer and more humid) during the summer and they must be concealing the bodies of people that drop like flies since the news doesn't mention it.

It was 90 degrees here at home just last week, the month of August is historically above 90 degrees here for the whole month...These guys are whining about 89 degrees for one day?...

The statement Mexico City experienced its hottest day in the last 99 years as thermometers reached 31.7°C (89.1°F) is a lie.

The record for Mexico City is 33.9 °C (93.0 °F) on May 9, 1998.

This is why I don't read news anymore, it is all bullshit. And yeah you are right, Mexicans are p*ssies about hot weather - even though they sleep through it.

I don't live there so we are not above average, where I am -5 is not above average . Its just damn cold.

Gee, I tried to find a temperature map of Tasmania and couldn't find one.

Is the problem that I don't know Tasmanian or that the BOMB doesn't print temperature maps?

In the US finding this stuff is easy:

It is currently 60°F here (in Celsius it is a different number).

I had to convert your number to real temperature.

23°F is a little nippy. I run in shorts and a T-shirt at those temperatures though.

The coldest it has gotten in Gaithersburg (that I can remember) is -6°F.

That is a relief. I didn't want to have to learn Tasmanian just to find temperature maps.

Sunrise is 05:43 so if I did get up with the sun (I don't) I'd be up an hour and 47 minutes before you are.

It was hot and has rained in the evening today.

Thought of either going to the beach tomorrow or take a ferry to another island and explore that island.

I see this all the time. Drivers testing their cars in deep water.

It never works. When will they learn ???

Flying cars doesn't work either, squirrels can fly but not cars...
