My area of NC averages 51 inches of rain a year and so far this year of less than 2 months we've had 21 inches of rain, one day 10 days ago we got 7.5 inches in a single day...I'm making plans in case it turns out that we'll have a wetter growing season for my garden...March and early April weather will give me more insight and I'll prepare accordingly...More rain in the forecast all next week...

We got almost two inches of snow yesterday evening which was a pleasant surprise but its about all melted away now, heading back into the 60s temps for a few days until the cold spell next week bringing snow again and ice at the end of next week...

It was in the 90's today. At 10:30 it felt like 100 and the sun's rays were intense. The news said we'll be dropping 20 degrees in the next couple of days.

I'll take some. We've had a pretty strong numbing cold wind these past couple of days, like from friggin' Pluto. Brrrrr.

This morning around 0700 the temp was 31 degrees and it was lightly snowing, tonight its forecast to get down to 20 degrees, I went into town earlier today for propane to fire the propane heaters tonight, they are great for heating when the temps are down below freezing...

It's been lovely weather lately, mid to low 70s during the day and upper 40s at night, but this coming Friday the temp is forecast to drop to freezing, so I cannot plant any seed in the garden yet...Might start planting about the middle of next week...We had rain in the forecast today but didn't get any, I wanted the rain to wash down the pollen before I mowed the yard, if we don't get rain tomorrow I'll probably go ahead and mow...I didn't want to stir up a bunch of pollen but my grass is getting tall, I need to mow soon...

Crazy storms across the state last night with baseball size hail, we were missed. Today it`s Tornadoes. Looks like we`ll get just rain and wind.

We're having a heatwave here and it's about 96 in the shade. If it's this hot this time of the year then summer is going to be a nightmare.

It was 101 in the shade today. It seems the temperature will be 10-20 degrees hotter than what the news claims.

We are having a cold spell starting last night through Monday next week, below freezing weather on Friday and Saturday night...It was quite cold today, a high in the low 50s but a strong wind, tonight the lows are forecast around 38 degrees...

Still nothing planted in my garden yet, we have a freeze warning tonight, the low is forecast to be 25 degrees, last night was below freezing temps, and this coming Monday night is forecast to be freezing...This is a really late frost here in mid-May, but after Wednesday next week we will have Spring weather again and warmer weather here to stay...So I'm planning to take a vacation day Thursday and Friday next week for planting days...
