In the 90s today and I will sit on the deck and bake like a brownie in a Barbie oven.
I've never been able to do that. Even as a kid I had to find the shade.
it boils away all the Evil Vapors
And gives you cancer. I lost half my nose because of walking my dog 3 times a day.
Good God. I'm sitting under an umbrella baking and have sunscreen on for when I'm not.
I used to cycle for hours just wearing tank tops and had to have a number of things edited away by my dermatologist as a result, so 'lesson learned' there. Always have a hat on too outside because I don't want to burn my bald noggin.
Lightning made me a lot of money years ago when telly-phone systems were big heaving groaning metal copper monstrosities being fed enormous amounts of power in their basement lairs. All sorts of delicious attractive paths to ground to be had and they are usually instantly and dramatically revealed. Always getting called out and sometimes you could smell what happened before you even got the door open.
We were always taught to never use the phone, that included not answering it, during a thunder storm.
The temperatures here have been hot but normal for July. I'm so thankful we aren't getting the horrible heat they're experiencing out west.
It was 104 in the shade today. The forecast said it'll cool down by this weekend.
Air quality here is down due to the wildfires out west and in Canada. A haze in the air almost every day.
Today it was 105 in the shade and probably 114 in the direct sun.
Are you okay?
We go back to normal weather starting Friday. Thank goodness, it was really rough to deal with. I don't know how people who live in hot climates like Africa or Australia survive.
Yeah, I'm okay. Repeated days of 110 takes its toll.
It has been cooler the last three days by about ten degrees, but there's higher humidity.
It's only going to be 21C tomorrow. I'm going shopping because the rest of the week is in the 30's again.

This whole summer has been cooler than normal with the exception of this week...We normally have temps in the low 90s this time of year and this week hasn't disappointed...Today it's 92 degrees (33.3C) and the humidity is up at 63 percent...Next week the temps return to below normal highs dropped back to 75-80 degrees...
Even your normal is too hot for me.
