It's been the 23rd of September pretty much all day, all over the world. No signs of Rapture, alien invasion, or anything else abnormal. I must confess to some measure of disappointment.

I am dissapointed also...
Yesterday, I thought:
"Well if the world is going to end... I might as well eat and drink whatever I want."

So I had chocholate chip cookies for breakfast, Lacey cookies for a midmorning snack... A chili cheese dog, fries and cheese sticks and a root beer for lunch, more cookies and some chocolate for a snack...

I drank up all my most expensive bourbon.... didn't want it to go to waste... after all, the world was supposed to end... I hated the thought of leaving good bourbon behind...

And today, I have gas, no appetite...
And I am in mourning at the site of an empty bottle sitting in top of the bar...

But, I am also thankful for having one day to celebrate life before the world ended... At least I have THAT...
Oh wait.. guess not...

I appreciate that I am not dead... so after headache goes away, I think I will make a trip to the liquor store, and buy a new bottle to commemorate surviving the end of the world... but I wont drink it yet... maybe I will open it next time, you know, the night before the world ends...
