Artificial sweetener. I can drink it black but prefer it sweet and I would tend to use too much sugar. Probably good for 6-8 packets per day.

Have you tried Stevia, its a all natural sweetener that is much different than sugar...I have some at home I've used in tea before, its 10 times sweeter than sugar so you don't want to add too much...

They sell it in the grocery next to the sugar if you're inclined to give it a try...

At Peace.
Stevie is good. Splenda is good. I have even become accustomed to those pink packets my wife keeps around.

Nothing like three big mugs of coffee in the morning.... sometimes three more in the afternoon if it is a cold weather day.

My friend has been using Stevia in her coffee for years. It is supposed to be a healthy alternative to sugar. I tried it, I find no difference in the bitter aftertaste than splenda or Sweet N Lo. I think I will stick with sugar (not high fructose corn syrup).

Stevia is much sweeter than sugar, to avoid the bitter aftertaste one must use half the quantity of Stevia that you would normal use for cane sugar...

I used lot less than 1/4 of the amount of sugar and it still has a bitter aftertaste. It tastes exactly like 1/2 packet of saccharine to me. I already know it is sweeter. My friend uses two drops in a cup of coffee. My grandmother used to use 2 drops fo saccharine in her coffee. You only get used to the bitter aftertaste, it doesn't go away.
