You can take a course to become a private investigator from them. To be a PI, my state requires a license.

Are any of these cases publicly available, like images of alleged landing places?...

They should call fiction " fiction". Even if it is not, a claim to be all knowing is impossible.. and a claim to be channeling is not something that can be very tangible...

I do believe many people, who are trying to get in touch with their subconcious, can confuse themselves and will truely believe they are channeling.... in a way, they are... it is part of our built in desire for tying things together, inovation requires fantasy, then creation, then vetting, for usability and practicality. ,

That's kind of funny to me. When we were kids, (my siblings & I) I clearly remember us talking about the fact that no matter where we moved, we had some kind of ghostly encounter. We moved around a lot.

We all experience "weird" phenomenon in our lifetime. Most people do what I was doing. When it happens, you try to explain it away, was it a dream? Was it something explainable like, the house settling or maybe the furnace knocking? Maybe it was just eye strain or some kind of light/shadow effect. The marks and bruises must be from something I just forgot about bumping into or didn't notice occurring. My aches and pains must be from aging? Or maybe I just slept funny? Then, when you've exhausted all theories and you still can't come up with an explanation, you shrug it off and file it away in your mind as something strange and inexplicable and just move on, try to forget about it. I got to the point where my "file it away" folder became overwhelmingly full.

There inevitably came a day that I had to sit myself down and decide what the heck was happening to me. Was I crazy, or is this really happening? I sought professional help. After 20 years of trying every kind of medicine & having every kind of medical testing known to man done to me. I purposely avoided any kind of research on my phenomena in that time period because I didn't want to be influenced by any outside sources. I wanted to present facts only, just my own personal experiences. The conclusion is... I am not seeking attention, I do not have a personality disorder, as far as the world of psychiatry and medicine is concerned, there is nothing wrong with me. They have no explanation either.

I remember when I first started seeing a psychiatrist and I was telling my sister that the doctor thought it may be a form of schizophrenia. She said no, you are not schizophrenic. As I was getting up and walking to the kitchen to fill my water glass, I said ya, I know. Then I stopped, turned and looked at her and said, but, that's exactly what a schizophrenic would say, right? She took a deep breath, turned red in the face, started laughing so hard that she fell out of her chair.

Anyway, my conclusion is that I am not seeing ghost or spirits that follow me where ever I go. It is extraterrestrial/interdimensional beings. They are real and they are here.

I just want give a like okus one in this, and I agree. Some things are impossible to label as anything else. They ARE extraterrestrial/interdenominational beings and they ARE here.

    And then what?
(Not poking here, genuinely interested in how 390 became a UFO investigator.)

No. I have accepted that scientific investigation will never be adequate when it comes to the E.T. phenom...

it is a personal journey for each individual to explore.

I cannot accept that absolute...Scientific investigation may be inadequate now but as technology and knowledge continually progresses so will scientific research and investigation advance...

I would be very happy to see that level of advancement. Perhaps current enigmas will be the inspiration for such scientific methods that can indeed prove it.

If you are truly curious, I can give you a few links to a couple good agencies I know of. If an individual wants to be an agent through DCJS, you must be 18 years of age, posses a valid VA driver's license, and there's also a code for clothing and vehicles, you would have to take a 60 hour course to receive your license...
I am considering recording myself while on duty and posting a video of me at work to either this website, or ForteanTimes, if it's something the people of Alienhub/Alien Expanse would be interested in seeing

I am trying to understand how it works... So is it self employ? Hang a shingle out as a PI for hire?

After someone receives their PI license (through the state), they can either work for a company, where they are given different cases in which they can decide what they want to take up. An alternative to this would be to self employ yourself, create your own website, be contacted throughout craigslist, etc.
It is important to note that the definition of a "Private Investigator" is someone who is hired to interfere with another's personal or legal issues, lawfully.

    That is kind of vague...
the word 'interfere' is a broad one, and makes it sound invasive, and oddly abusive sounding... Can you help us understand this with some examples of how it might apply to a case study?

    Alright, then stay posted, sweet.
Kchoo, sorry if that was a vague answer, perhaps a better description of a PI would be a detective who takes on investigations on behalf of personal clients,
I will attempt to post a video here showing what a day at work is like for me, most likely later in September, or early october

Here in the USA, PI's reside in a weird gray area between bona fide public law enforcement and private security which includes oddities such as private police forces and bounty hunters. Licensing and qualifications for PI's and what they can and cannot do varies considerably from state to state.

^ It amazes me that any state would allow someone only 18 years old and have only 60 hours training to be a PI.

Depends on what you are allowed to do, exactly. There is no requirement anywhere for age, licensing, or training to "investigate" anything as long as you are not breaking the law. I would presume the law regarding such matters comes into play if you want to hang out your shingle as a PI and do it for pay.
