Russia said they'll expel western diplomats and close the American consulate in St. Petersburg. This comes after 24 European countries, Australia, Canada & US expelled Russian diplomats.

I'm very disappointed my country only let 1 go. IMO They should all go..
Diplomacy can still be done if needed..

Interested to hear what others think about it...

And the gasline running a few hundred miles from here under the Baltic Sea..
That one should be plugged ASAP.. thats an IV drip to the E.U with russian political agenda.

I'd class myself as having average intelligence. If I wanted to kill someone; it would be stupid of me to leave the knife sticking out of someone's heart with my name/ address & fekin fingerprints on it- would it not??

From what I've been told this is pretty much what highly intelligent Russian secret service etc whatever have done!?!

Am I missing something here or am I below average intelligence & just stupid??? i don't know-- what do you lovely people think?

the whole thing doesn't smell right to me!?

They could have used an ice bullet on them but no doubt they did not want to be seen nor heard by the victims . So sliming the front door with nerve agent seems to be the way they chose to go. Got the job done , almost.

the point i'm making is:

why leave a calling card? because we all know who did it, apparently! do the Russian want us to know they did it? have they been set up? or are they just stupid?
personally i'd say the Russian KGB/ secret service (whatever) are not that stupid- so i'll rule that one out- which leaves us with the other 2 options-- unless you can think of another one?

Its not the first time they have done this on foreign soil. The job is done as far as they are concerned. It will die down eventually as most things do and then we will have to wait until next time.

I just assumed without reading in detail that they slipped up, the 'calling card' was unintentional, a botched job...I wonder how many other people have died in the world from other activities that remained under the radar and went unnoticed?...

I don't think it was a botched job, just one that failed to achieve what it set out to do.

None of the above. They don't care what we think and have proved that many a time. My opinion is Mr Skripal has given more information and it cost him big. It's a statement by the Kremlin that if you do this, this is what will happen. So I say that greed has probably cost him his life.
