This is George Van Tassel in 1964 being interviewed about going on a scout ship and meeting with human ETs at Giant Rock. He's asked if there were any witnesses to his claim having been taken on a spaceship. He replies that a future son in law was a witness to this event - this was Norman Paulsen. I met him personally in 2005 at his home in California.
In his autobiography chapter "Move to the Desert" he says one night he noticed a craft appear over Giant Rock. He then started shouting for others to wake up and see themselves, but apparently the intelligence guiding the vehicle didn't want to be seen by everyone and he was blasted by a light that put him to sleep.
In addition, George Van Tassel says he was working with a guy who was developing a type of time machine. Everything is stored in the ether or sort of Akashic records, so I wouldn't find the idea of looking back so far fetched. Not the same as going back in time or future and starting a new timeline (I think that makes no sense and would really throw a wrench into everything). Apparently some MIB came around and took over this project, he says in the interview. This sounds familiar to the proposed Operation Looking Glass by our UFO friend Bob Lazar.
We have reason to believe military took all of the blueprints on the "death ray" by Nikola Tesla upon his death, as well as confiscating Otis. T. Carr project to create an anti-gravity ship on his ideas. Interestingly Bob Lazar was briefed about 3 separate projects 1. Looking Glass (looking back in time and trying to see into the future) 2. Death Beam (weaponized laser technology I suspect was used to knock down saucers at Roswell and others) 3. Reverse Engineering recovered or fully functional perfect condition flying saucers (he was apart of).
I'm not however still sold on the moon base in the Gassendi Crater, maybe the dark side of the moon or elsewhere - have not seen convincing evidence. But NASA not going back makes it suspicious and gives it plausibility.
