I would say you are right about that. Something like peppers ghost doesn't really seem like Meier would think of that. In the few interviews, he ever did. He really didn't seem like a mentally swift man. You are probably right about this.

meiers also took pictures of books and his TV it appears......not to mention toy guns.

His "contact reports" were so laughably out of date and vague no wonder he got things right.

Pareidolia is the tendency of the human brain to see familiar patterns in noise. which is why we see animals and faces and figures in clouds. The brain is especially predisposed to see human faces. You can look at damn near any random pattern of light and shadow, and see a human face in there.

And Richard Hoagland is the worst.

Although i do believe in Bigfoot, The idea of them being able to cloak or become invisible i cant bring myself to believe even though i had a few experiences where its the only explanation. so bigfoots being able to cloak or become invisible i`m throwing under the bus. i know there is some that would throw the whole bigfoot idea under it..not me.
