I absolutely remember that episode and they were supposed to be building a website that would be highlighting some of Stanford's content. I remember visiting it a few months later and it was essentially barren. Wasn't Moss doing it with a research partner? I forget who it was.
Ray Stanford was a lightning rod topic for quite awhile over in those forums because Chris O'Brien would constantly rave about Ray and his "research" on virtually every episode of the show. Then he got so pissed at all of us ripping him in the forums that he swore he would never mention Ray again. That lasted maybe 2 weeks and then he basically told all of us saying "put up or shut up" to fuck off (paraphrasing) and that he'd talk about Ray whenever he wanted and that if anyone doubted Ray's photos, call him up so you could visit him and see the research for yourself.
I've heard several people who I respect, including Chris, talk about having seen the photographic materials in person, I've heard them describe, in detail, the photos, so he's got something. I just don't give a fuck. They are his materials, he can do anything he wants with them. However, they aren't worth mentioning, refblieveerring to (except derisively), or talking about until he shares them with the world.
On a tangential note, I listened to an interview with Stanford on Martin Willis' UFO Podcast several years ago where he actually said to Martin, "I told my wife, if I pass away, just put all of my research in a pile and light it on fire." I mean, what the fuck? That comment alone made me lose any respect for the man as a serious researcher. Who thinks that way? The selfishness was stunning. I also find it raises more questions about his materials and attitude.
