I don't usually have a need to go in to a bigger city, except when on holiday traveling or on business, the town near my home has a population of 1800 people, that's the biggest town I drive to, its where I work...If I cannot get what I need there I go to a city of 200,000 people which about 30 minutes of a drive on the highway...I go there about once every two months, anything else I purchase online and have it delivered...

The most populated cities in North America are Mexico City and New York City, 1st and 2nd respectively, have over 20 million people, I've been to both cities twice...I would never want to live in either city lol...

I live in a city of 35000 and cant wait to go to my family reunion Saturday (odd its the same day as national ghost hunting day) LOL, its near some falls in the North Canadian River .If the reunion was a month ago it would be like ya was in the movie Children of the Corn.Actually might be a good place for squatchin. No but today i lost a fish, it was a blue Johanni that was almost 10 years old.the mean ass killed everything else in my tank. at least now i can get a different type of tank going.

Just got back home from first day of my new job...walking around carrying light/heavy stuff for 9 hours in a storage (20-25 kilos get heavy real fast). Fatigue-fever, we meet again tomorrow. Embrace me!!!

Had to bury my parakeet of eleven years today. She was a sweet little thing.

I already feel a strange emptiness. She's been a part of my life for so many years... I can't bear to clean out her cage just yet.

I had a Black Moor do that to my other goldfish he was like a piranha . So annoying to find you fish dead like that. Hope your Macramé goes ok.

I realized tonight why my right hand has been in pain at work the last couple days...Ive been using my tablet a lot more than my laptop this week, when I held my tablet in my hands tonight my hand started hurting again in the exact spot the corner of the tablet is held at...I'm leaning it into my right hand to hold it stable when I type...lol..ouch...

Thanks August. It's heartbreaking. If only pets could live longer and never get sick...

I know,I have lost some of my cats and there is no getting over some of them, really tragic and sad ends dying so young . I still have 2 but I never forget about the others.

Yeah, it really hits you, especially when they were fine and then suddenly drop dead :( I know birds are notorious for hiding their illnesses. I suppose it's a trait they inherited from the wild to avoid being preyed on.

I don't keep birds and that's why and gold fish I have lost a few of them also. The only thing I had that didn't die was a dog . Well he did die but not for years. My cats have all had a very bad track record most died before they got to 2 years old . I don't mind if they live for some years and have a good time but dying like mine did was just to much. Are you getting another bird later maybe ?
