So a ConEd substation had a problem and it justifiably freaked everyone out.
You want to know what happens after first contact here's a sampler. I hope ET is reading this and has the good sense to arrive in a slightly less dramatic fashion. Bring pancakes or other tasty snacks, for a start.
Spencer Pesce debated the relative merits of baseball bat vs sword in regard to meeting aliens. Clever lad keeping his head like that. I bet Zefram Cochrane had a sock full of nickels in his pocket when he met the Vulcans - just in case they got uppity.
