The Sierras are a wild place where its easy to go missing.....its a big difference from what we have back east.

We have had many tourists and some locals go missing in the South West Wilderness never to be seen again. Mainly due to lack of preparations for the weather conditions we get. They are never usually found as the Devils eat them.

South West Wilderness is double the size of Yosemite though.

The missing is many more than the NPS list is.
