I got as far as the phrase "how the Egyptians were able to lug millions of 2.5 ton blocks 500 miles.".....only the granite came from Aswan. The remaining material came....(limestone)....came either from Giza or Tura.

Watching that video did not make any sense to me.
Water flows to the lowest point.
Locks in a semi-vertical square shaft that is suppose to hold water!!
And how would they prevent the stones from crashing into each other and breaking or severing the tie ropes?!!
Also what kind of floatation would you use on a 2.5 ton stone?
That theory has more holes in it than a screen door.

There's a longer video on You Tube with the floating theory. They speculate they used animal skins to float the stones. I think they may have used hollowed out wood blocks. They've uncovered the causeway from the Nile to the pyramids. There's black stone around at least one of the great pyramids that looks like it was part of the tub of water they created. They believe there were four stone tubes running up each side of the pyramid with gates.
