Big asteroid passing close on Sep.1, 2017!

Don't worry asteroid 3122 Florence will safely pass at over 18 times the distance from the earth to the moon, but you could see it through a small scope or binoculars.

Florence is the largest asteroid to pass this close to our planet since the first near-Earth asteroid was discovered over a century ago.

3122 Florence is at least 2.7 miles (4.35 km) in diameter. The object that created Meteor Crater was a nickel-iron meteorite 50 meters (160 feet) across.

I think the one which would hit us won't be seen until it's too close to earth to warn many people...
