China's military bases are NOT intended to maintain peace and security like the US bases or many others are.
It is one of a more sinister intent....

Its a grab its expansionism and the Chinese can't wait to sail their new carriers up and down the US West coast. This can't be good.

It is just going to taunt the US to dump 700 billion every year into the military. A budget China can not even come close to.
The US is looking to possibly double it's present navy fleet and has been working on a mach 20 aircraft and adding lasers to every naval vessel.

Australia needs to be firm against unchecked Chinese expansion...
