I know I haven't been speaking a lot lately, I don't know what's up, Company even came by my home today, I told the wife to tell them I'm not feeling well, Which, Really, I feel great. I Don't know why, But I'm just not a social butterfly. I don't want company, I don't want to go out and do things, I just want to be lost in my own thoughts, Some people could say this is an issue or even a condition.

My guess is it has to be. I'm not sad or depressed, I'm just always in very deep thought...
It never ceases, And sometimes, Most times, I'd rather just be alone, Combing over my thoughts. Don't think ill of me for that, It's not a decision I've made selfishly, It's just how I am, How my personality is.
The way I've always been.

Actually, I've been very busy, I've learned that Google Drive is actually pretty open, you can honestly download software packs and busy boxes and turn it into a pretty damned fast web server, With near unlimited space to boot. All one has to do is create multiple accounts and share the drive space with the master drive account. So I've got this Private server now, And yes. It is Private, It's my Think box. It's where I go to postulate and archive and theorize. No one may ever see it, It's like my Thoughts. Online,

This brings me to a Question. How private is my Google drive, Now, For those on the know about Google Drive, I have all my files unshared, The only shares on Files and drives are from the secondary and slave drive accounts which are also me.

That Said, with all that space, I do have "Some" Warez and Pirated software, Thing's I'd never want to lose. Things like Every Video game rom ever made from 2 bit to the 64-bit era. This includes very rare Japanese exclusive English translated rom hacks. Every Arcade game made between 1980 and 2010 Things that are flatly illegal to own of this nature, Hacked versions of windows that allow consoling command Vpn Dos Networking initiated by cookie update overflow.

You know, perfectly legal things to own.

I have Sharing options turned off. The only person who can ever download these files is me. And the Loophole is, Those rom dumps, Are legal to own If I can prove I have all the original games,, I really hope I don't have too. But, I'm not distributing these files. They are mine for personal use. So, Is this usage of Google Drive Legal? When used in the Way I'm using it?

I mean, It's not perfect security, But, I've made an acknowledgment that Those files are for my personal backup use and not to be shared, This on top of the file already being set to private. Surely, This method of storage is safe?

I never use Google drive nor any other cloud services and never will, there is no good reason why I should trust a corporation's online server more than my own hard drives kept at my own home and not always connected to the internet?...

I can see where you are coming from, But hear me out, Three times In my life, I've lost everything. Once It was a house fire, The second time it was divorce, The third time, It was also divorce, But, In those situations, I literally lost everything, Because I refuse to take anything with me when I leave some woman, It's too much hassle and legal trouble to claim one's items, So I just abandon it all. personal habits aside, I've learned the one great thing about cloud storage is, Those backups can survive a total personal world collapse, It's not that I expect bad things to happen, it's just I'm 42 now, I know bad things happen. I think you are right about Not trusting Google, I'd hate for some policy change to occur and suddenly all those developers had access to my content to sue me, All it would take would be some policy change.

But, Digital storage, at least in its principal, Offers an extra layer of data security. At least in the sense that if one suddenly loses everything, Those things are still there waiting.

I wouldn't build that aspect of Digital storage up some much, But it really has come in handy more than once brother :)
