How I got out of cooking for thanksgiving.

So, My niece this year is doing most of the cooking for Thanksgiving, She wanted me to help, I offered to just order out from cracker barrel, She said, No one orders out cracker barrel for thanksgiving, Then I Said okay, I'll help cook, I asked her if turkey went back to a liquid if you put it in the microwave.
She told me I could order my side of it from cracker barrel, Of course, I realize Turkey won't go back to a liquid if you put it in the microwave, You know, Cause once that shit solidifies, It's that way forever

Lol, Sam is like that when she's cooking, I miss the old days when my grandma used to cook for thanksgiving, She has this recipe for apple turnovers, They were just otherworldly, That in my eyes was the soul of thanksgiving dinner, I wish for you, Apple turnovers brother,

My mother in law in elderly so we just go to a nearby restaurant. A long (fooking windy)travel day.
From a distance no one would notice anything amiss.
Internally I'm thinking about various family members around the table
