Every couple of years apart, I will do a deep dive on the net, attempting to learn everything I can about the current state of mobile phones. Which is the most powerful, what features they have, which is simply the neatest phone to carry around for the next few years. I ended up getting a Google pixel 7. They have a lot of neat features. What bothers me about it all is, this phone has about three times over, the power of the pc's I used to build and sell..
It's kinda neat, it's got 8 gigs of ram, a pretty powerful moli chipset gpu
128 gigs ssd for storage. im pretty impressed with it to be honest.
So I put it to a power test. This thing will run emulation all the way up to Nintendo Wii.. It runs game cube emulation without a hitch.
I realize, none of those will mean anything to most people. But, homebrew coders and techno nerds like myself will dig that .
I still think, modern smartphones are getting ridiculously expensive, this one phone cost more than a ps5.
.it is a pretty neat phone though.
