Now they have released the information that the skull is actually an aboriginal they can't find anyone who is willing to come forward with information on the skull. The people who reported it have gone underground.

Maybe. They said the skull was really weathered and aged it will take them 2 weeks to do the testing to find out how old it is and what age and sex the person was. The fact that its an aboriginal skull everyone concerned with its finding have clammed up.

Why is this???

Let's assume that the skull is a couple of hundred or more years old.

There is no chance any of the finders are guilty of killing him.

No that's true CB but the area where the skull was found could be up for an Aboriginal land grab if there is any signs of Aboriginal settlement there or a burial ground. That's why everyone involved in finding it have taken the 5th Amendment.
