U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Mn.), who is running for the Democratic nomination for president, today (Dec. 30, 2019) visited with the editorial board of the Conway Daily Sun, a newspaper in New Hampshire. She was asked a UFO-related question by Conway Daily Sun reporter Daymond Steer [who has previously elicited answers to UFO-related questions from such political figures as Hillary Clinton, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), and Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Co.)]. The attached video clip shows the entire exchange. Here is a partial transcript:
Klobuchar: We don't know enough. ... I don't know what happened, not just with that [2004 Nimitz] sighting, but with others. And I think one of the things a president could do is to look into what's there -- in terms of, what does the science say, what does our military say?.... Some of this stuff is really old, sightings, so why can't you see if you can let some of that out for the public, so earnest journalists like you [Daymond Steer], who are trying to get to the bottom of the truth, would be able to see it? ...What a president could do is to be able to figure out, can you release some of the information now publicly?
