I was a fulltime student at that time ( final year ) attending university...
Exercising helped me get my very tired mind going for the last exams..

I hiked a couple miles early this morning with my dog, then mowed 5 acres of land and then used my tiller to turn over the new spot for my garden this season...Time to rest now...

Just finished hiking for the last 3 hours, covered about 3 miles I would hazard to guess, we went to the next county over to a large forest reserve...

I walked 10 kms under the sun. 24° C .. Not a cloud in sight.. So bright.. I just love them photons

I hunted slugs and gophers in the garden and then watered the garden.
next I am off to go clear a roadside from things that block visibility.
on my list of things to do is to dig up water pipes to see where they go.
have to fix washed out roads, build more fences, plant trees...
and so much other work
it amazes me that people don't have an infinite list of labor to do, to the point where they exercise while not getting anything else done or making money doing it.

Well... city life sux that way... we mostly have desk jobs and sit in cars. I would love to live back on the 30 acre farm, but didnt know better at the time. Sold my horse and bought a computer... 25 years have a great job and a good life in the city, but I sure do miss the farm.

Yep, tilled and planted the garden the past two days, trimmed back my apple and pecan trees, went on the offensive against an over abundance of wasps on my property, got stung 4 times but I got all of them, a big nest in the pecan tree...Working on my solar panels today, building 4 more...I never go to the gym, my job, my work at home, and constant hiking with my dog is all the exercise I need...

I have lived in the city before when I was younger, didn't have a dog back then either living in an apartment, I worked close to home though and rode a mountain bike to work during the warm months...People choose different ways to get their exercise or lack there of lol, but sometimes people's lives are set where the lifestyle is exercise...
