here is to 18. wonderful years!
I like watching restoration videos on YT.Thought I'd throw this out for a few ideas. Just hobby nonsense.
Found me this here neat box. Too neat to just chuck, too neat not to use as some kind of tool box, too neat to just let disintegrate. The sticker remnants said 'The Benjamin Franklin' at Chestnut & Ninth in Philadelphia. Been rusting out in my shed for years full of somebody else's crapola.

Used a wire wheel on my grinder and a random orbit sander to take it down to clean smooth bare metal.

Now it's in an oil based primer that I know is tough as long as it's allowed to cure.
No idea what the hell to do with it.

My neighbor gave me that cheap little Harbor Freight touch up gun. I've used that gloss grey paint with a brush before and it comes out nice. Thought maybe I'd try to spray the interior.
That leaves the exterior. No clue. Was going to make it a dirty looking grey and stencil something on it like 'DANGER' or 'BRIDGE WIRE DETONATOR' and a location within the 'MANZANO STORAGE DEPOT' or something goofy. But I have several old ammo and other weird boxes and that just doesn't seem right.
I figure we have some creative people at work here and hoped maybe someone has an interesting suggestion.
Not looking where to put it, more like how to paint it
. It'll just be full of tools but it came out too nice thus far to screw it up now.
That's the last time I use the self check out at the grocery store. My total was $37 and change. I put in a $50 and the machine only registered it as $20. The person who worked there said I would have to pay the remaining balance due and then wait til they audit which will take up to 2 weeks.
That's messed up. Often the only choice is to use a self checkout because there's no checker or the line(s) are too long. I do like how smooth The Home Depot's checkout is. You just pick up the scanner, push a few buttons and it's done. That's the last time I use the self check out at the grocery store. My total was $37 and change. They could have a branch with a more advanced ATM.No complaints about my credit union but their ATMs suck. Twice I had a problem and twice I had to wait for the audit. Stopped using ATMs

That's a long dry spell. Have fun.NFL football tonight, I'm not a big sports fan at all but going to the Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay game tonight with some friends, free ticket Silver club seating and all the trimmings, should be fun...I haven't been to a NFL game since 1983 lol...
