The meals won't need refrigeration and can be shipped to your door.

It would have to be an end of the world scenario for me to eat those damn things....I choked enough on them while I was doing my time in the military. They are nasty unless you can get creative and become a chef over night.

I still want to see if I can't set up a little cache of them somewhere, just in case.

I figure if I stockpile hemp (lots of fibre, omega oils and good fats) + rice (you need at least two plant proteins to get a complete amino index for your body to make the most of it, its more money and effort but has none of the residual poisons we put in meat which is inevitably passed onto every product of that animal) protein powders and vegan multivitamins I just need some cruelty-free gut-filler to keep me and mine on our feet. We'd be drinking most of our sustenance via protein powders + water and multivitamins, to give ourselves a chance out there.

Yep especially in the case of a nuclear attack...Most of the cattle would not be safe to eat even if they survive the blast.

Good for most, but they don't look vegan. I'm awkward like that.

They sell 30 or 40 day pails of food. You can also get a wide range of stocked bug-out bags.

Don't forget bandages and first aid kit, a small gash or cut can be disastrous if contaminated and gets infected...

I've noticed the quality of Band-Aids has diminished and a lot of them don't even stick.

I tend to use disinfectant, dressings and medical tape anyway. I don't like to fuck around when it comes to infection. It's rare that I need to use them, though. I'm not exactly out there fighting bears but I tend to itch insect bites in my sleep if and when they happen and it can get pretty bad.
If it's a small wound like from cutting my finger preparing food or whatever I tend not to bother with plasters because I'm not a cook or chef.

First aid kits are a necessity especially if you get bit by a zombie the infection is a bitch! LoL!

Vegan huh...I like vegetables but I am afraid I would have to wait out the radiation and get me a cow or deer or something. I should point out that no matter how prepared you are you cannot prepare for everything...Best case scenario in this instance is to prepare for what is likely to happen in your neck of the woods.

Batten down the hatches and don't lose your head.
