No but they have put the price of fuel up to $1.51 a litre at the bowsers for both petrol and diesel. We have our own gas fields in Bass Straight so hopefully we will be ok apart from the price rise. Sorry for the delay in answering cooking dinner.

So that's about 80 cents a litre.

Closer to a dollar a litre, the mid grade and regular grade which is 89 and 87 octane are about 10 cents cheaper each...I can't use those lower grades in my car...

We have leaded and unleaded and another one that they call Super that's the dearest. It used to be cheaper for diesel but now that's the same price as petrol.

Diesel is more expensive here, about 50 cent more...All our fuel is unleaded and sold by level of octane contained...I have a V8 Jaguar engine in my car, it requires high octane lol...

I only have a 4 cylinder so that's pretty good on fuel . I did have a V8 BMW but sold it for a more economical car.

Here we call it kph, ppl don't use mph here.

What is a mpg? Is it the same with mph?

People don't use kph here in this country, here we call it mpg which is miles per gallon...Also here we drive on the right side, not the left side and not the dark side...:tongue8:

One gallon is roughly 3.8 liters.

Paid $2.73/gallon the other day.

You are getting charged about $5.72 per gallon (gas is measured in gallons) in funny money, or about $4.33 in real money.
