Totally forgot about this little econobox. Bought it from the original owner and sold it back to him a couple of years later. Fun little Mitsubishi rebranded as a Plymouth Fire Arrow. Once spent an entire weekend getting snotted and applying a coat of hard furniture wax to the thing. Never had to touch it again, glowed for years afterward

 

Might not look it but there are several hours of work in there just to put this together. The previous owner got a '70 left hand dash piece and dyed it black. Badly. Apart from looking like hell there are differences between the years that left big gaps. So this is a very early '69 reproduction that I transferred the gauges, switch and vent to. Gotta put the steering column back in now. Beauty of it is I can easily sell the old dash piece to someone who's doing this to a '70 and wants an original.

Should've taken a couple of yoga classes first.
