Gene Steinberg's Financial Shenanigans @ Paracast forums

I've been a longtime Paracast listener/subscriber. I only stumbled onto these forums the other day by freak accident, but I am glad I did. Just out of curiosity, how long has this site/forums been around for & who's the head honcho here? Thanks!

I've never in my entire life heard of any kind of hotel type establishment that allows late payment - AT ALL.

They simply don't do it, because if they did they would have every freeloader for miles around coming and trying their luck (not just Gene) just so they could get a free night's stay.

If you pay late, you get thrown out and you can't go back there. You may also get the police called on you. No exceptions.

The fact he is staying there for weeks means he has been paying and paying on time.

This is just another example of the constant BS that Gene spins to try to weasel money out of people for everyday costs - all whilst keeping what happens to the $2800 he gets every month (for sitting on his backside) a secret.

Any hotel I've ever used, as long as I can remember, requires a credit card even if you are paying in cash so that if you damage something they have your info & a way to get payment. So it seems even if he thought he was getting a free nights stay that they would have a credit/debit card on file and if he didn't give them the cash they would just ping his card. And if his card was declined, I'm 99% sure the police would be called in.

Hey, I'm the forum owner, I started this place on July 13, 2016 so we are into the third year...One of the businesses I own funds the forum and pays the bills, I don't think we've done too bad for such a short time being here but I am in it for the long haul, I want to grow this place and expand with other ideas I have in the near future...I cannot stand ads on webpages so you will never see one on this forum, I do promote this forum through Google ads and other places but no ads on these pages...I have only one moderator, The Shadow and one other admin Soul-Drifter but he hasn't been around much, he has some personal issues he's been dealing with...Glad you're here, I think we have great people here as members and the finest from paracast are here now, which has really enriched our membership and discussions greatly!...Thank you all, I enjoy being here every day, some days I'm posting heavy, other days I'm reading more lol...

Edit: we do have one other moderator, August, but she's been on walkabout for a little while...

Well you do a fine job relatively single handed. It is infinitely better than the Paracast (or Parasite as some said) forums. Thanks for providing a place for us.

I believe he is staying at a motel that is a national chain; one of those "faceless corporations" he is so fond of. I doubt they grant much of any leeway to the guests.

I'm surprised he posts on ATS. I got disgusted with that place when I got drooled on every time I visited. It was starting to give GLP a run for its money in the wackadoodle category.

How can he let the registration expire for vehicle (The only form of income i can see as radio show, well thats tanked) but has money to burn on a web developer and wanting a solicitor to go after truth tellers amongst others.

Only once many many moons ago did I gift the grifter muppet some of my hard wonger.

Did not take me long to cotton on but I kept listening but never got involved in the forums
and never subscribed to paracast+.

Surely by now he must be able to get it into his head that he cannot make a living begging or from the failing radio show and web site.

Logic dictates 'I have a family, it is my duty to keep a roof over my and my families head and keep them fed and warm, safe, to do this I need a job that pays money not pipe dreams of a radio show and failed scams'

A point that is maybe overlooked. Steinberg may be using cash to pay for his motel room, but he must have a valid credit card as well. As previously stated, motels and hotels prefer credit card payments. Steinberg can’t afford a tapped out credit card in case someone were to check and see if he has enough of a balance.

In short, Steinberg can’t be trusted with anything he tells us about his financial situation.

you are not late to the party, until early this year we had only 2 or 3 menbers, but then the AH forums got bombed by its own owner and all the refugees came here, and then the paracast stuff happened and here we are!
