Hey sorry to hear this, hope he doesn't get hit too hard with it, as pepe said, it's all about exposure and amount taken in...I wish him a speedy recovery, let us know how he's doing when you can post an update...

Well he lives with this woman who still works at some senior care place. It might have been he got it from her, while she got it from her workplace. I have no idea how much has been transmitted in that case. Or he might have gotten it from a store, and now the woman is at risk too, since they live together. I think shes gone to take her own test too, havent heard any results of that yet. I dont know if she was vaccinated, she should have been if she works in some healthcare thing, but they might have screwed it up somehow, I dont know.
It really sucks that this had to happen week before my dad was to be vaccinated. He was almost in some safe space but ran out of time. Of course. I cant even go to see him if he gets put in a hospital since im risk group too. Really sucks should it come to end like this.
But I guess it wouldnt last forever. Finland is having a third wave now, the cases are higher than ever(600-700 per day on average), highest in our southern region of Uusimaa, plus we have the british mutation here taking the place of the normal one, which seems to infect even more. Were already talking about curfews and other things again. And our vaccination is behind schedule, someone on EU level or somewhere else really screwed it up. Because of our massive bureucracy theres been problems dealing with the vaccinations and the people coming through the borders, some which have been clear carriers. In short, its been relatively quiet and messy, but now hell is about to enter through the gates.
