As Above So Below
My niece is doing okay, she has mild symptoms we've finally heard, she's staying isolated at home until this illness passes...
Her mom said she had a negative test result today and she's feeling great again...

Hopefully in a day or two you should be back to normal.I had my second shot yesterday, now I'm feeling very feverish with a headache. Thermometer shows almost 38 c. No throat pain or mucus though.

You know what? I have never wanted to become a octogenarian because I have no family or friends that can/could look in on me or take care of me at that age, so I will end up in a government run home for the elderly. Canada is full of recorded abuses in these type of places. From robbery to rape and beyond. I've read most of them over the past 30 years and nothing has been done to change/correct these abuses from continuing happen. I refuse to end up in one of those places even if it means ending my own life. I also have no plans for travel for the rest of my life, so I don't need a passport.
I will need to eat and that means shop and go places like dental and optical before that time. Call me silly if you will, but the only thing that actually scares me is the conspiracy theory about there being some type of behavioral inhibitor in the vaccine formula. That and the fact that I don't like needles, so I don't relish the thought of volunteering to getting 2 of them. Then there are the side effects, not something anyone looks forward to. So, I am going to wait and see if it becomes difficult to exist without it, but...
I have changed my mind and I am going to get vaccinated.
It was strange being in the football stadium with most masked and whole rows blocked off.
Debbie did not wear one for her cheerleading nor did any player.
Proof of getting the shot manitory
Papers please..
Good move.
You'll be fine. I had no side effects at all. Slightly sore arm at the injection point (happens with all injections) next day nothing.
I used to be a regular blood doner, so I don't mind needles.
As for the age thing. Who wants to ? I'm 77.
My aim is to just carry on doing the things I do and hopefully simply drop dead some day from a massive heart attack. No warning. Hope I'm not driving at the time.
There is likely nothing in the vaccine that will change your behaviour. Covid certainly would.
Yes! On entry!Did you have to show papers even if you were wearing a mask?
I don't mind it but it's getting to a point you have to show it everywhereOh...the horror...the horror...

My sister and her daughter recovered from Covid and both have had negative test results the last 2 weeks. My neice has to get tested every week because she works for the government as a dairy inspector. They were still testing positive for 3 weeks after they felt better. My brother-in-law was hospitalized for a week because of covid. They sent him home with oxygen and he did recover, but 2 weeks after he stopped the oxygen he had a heart issue and was back in the hospital. His heart was on a constant rev and the doctors had to put him under and shock his heart. It turns out covid caused him to have blood clots in his lungs that caused his heart to malfunction. He is home now and doing better but not quite himself yet.
My brother has lymphoma and is getting chemo. I think he is being careful, and I don't know if he got vaccinated or whether he can because for some cancer treatments any vaccine is dangerous. This is his second time to get chemo. He is going to the Mayo clinic in Scottsdale the end of the month for stem cell therapy. Arizona is not a safe place as far as the virus goes.
