I realize the science of weather forecasting has improved dramatically in recent years. It's certainly much better than it was even 15 or 20 years ago. That being said, I'm still extremely frustrated that Hurricane Florence now could very well strike the US East Coast as a major hurricane and forecasters are at a loss to say what it will do or where it will do it. The cone of probability as of 9/7/18 still includes most, if not all, of the eastern seaboard and there are 2 or 3 new waves following in its wake.
