True story. The police department has a wanted suspect trapped in a house that they have surrounded. It's tense - lights, yellow tape, neighbors evacuated. Then, right in the middle of it, the armored car dies. It's a ex-Air Force Dodge they bought at auction and yes you short sighted bastards just don't see why an armored car is so necessary. So they call for maintenance and my brother is the one that shows up. He looks around a bit, walks out past the all the guys with the rifles and body armor (he's got Carhartts) , opens the hood and has it fired up in about a minute. Then they went back to the siege, he sat in his service truck and had coffee.
Turns out the man had fled hours earlier anyway and I think he said they found him falling down drunk in a tavern a short distance away
