Military pays them to play the anthem, which isn't really needed for the game. But when you sign up with employer who pays you millions, follow the rules and go protest somewhere else on your time. Jim Brown is a man I respect.

The players have forgotten that pro football is a business and they are employees. When there are protests and the owners see fewer fannies in the seats and revenues go down, they get very unhappy.

I know many fans find the idea of millionaire athletes protesting to be offensive. Set up a fund to help inner city minorities if you want to do something productive. Taking a knee tends to piss people off. That would seem to be evident.
