We moved our conure parrot to the living room and he squawks like a car alarm every time a stranger comes in. He's very noisy and messy.
I had a parakeet that flew straight into walls fullforce. she never did get hurt bad amazingly. the other keet i had flew great around the house and would whistle at ya if ya walked by naked. dont know where he learned it ha haI used to have a green cheeked conure when I lived in California many moons ago, he was very tame and friendly and I let his wing feathers grow back...In time he had a perch in every room of the house and was free to fly around inside the house all he wanted...Hs still had his cage but the door was tied open...One day I came home and found him dead on the floor near a doorway wall, I guess he got spooked or something and flew into the wall and broke his neck...I'll never know exactly what happened but his neck was broken so that's a good assumption...
