Legand of Boggy Creek
Solo. Well done. 4 out of 5 stars.
I disagree with the bad ratings. I do agree that they made a cookie cutter style movie, but I wasn’t expecting it to blow my socks off when I went, so I wasn’t dissapointed. You are the only one that liked it...It's been reviewed earlier...

I just viewed him as a guy playing Solo, but I will never really accept anyone other than Harrison Ford as the 'real' Solo.I tried to watch it, if the guy who played Solo was a better actor I could have enjoyed it...That's the disappointing apart for me, the movie putting Solo aside was good, very Star Warsy but the acting for Solo tainted it too much for my taste...

The First Purge.... went to see it with a friend, not expecting much since the Purge movie before it wasn't done too well....
However, in my opinion this is the best Purge movie they've released to date... it seems as though they're interested enough to put more attention and detail into the series and show the origins of the Purge and purpose behind it (both the real reason and the "publicized" reason) and it shows why other things happened in the other Purge movies..... or why they unfolded the way they did anyways......
I'm a little skeptical about the 10-episode TV series they're doing with the Purge, but I was also skeptical of TFP at first as well......
8/10
No they're actually doing the opposite.... this was the fourth movie in ths series and now they're going to do a 10-episode mini series kind of thing The movies are about a day that happens every year called the "Annual Purge" where every crime, including murder, is legal...... the government claims they allow it so people can release all their bent up anger and toxic energy...... the first two were okay, the third wasn't the best, but I think the fourth one really brought back what the first couple of films tried to make people feel. The most recent one actually takes place years before any of the other films and shows the government and scientists "testing out" ths Purge on Staten Island, NY, for one night, while the rest of the world watches....... to see if they will vote to make it a worldwide event every year....... some of it can be really predictable but overall if you like suspense/horror I would give them a watchI have never heard of this before, was it a tv series that went to movies or?...What's it about?...I know I can google it I just wanted your opinion of the storyline...
