I've seen The Shatner live and it's well worth - he really knows how to light up a stage and am sure he can probably still it off to some degree
 
Since I have been surfing the old picture vault I found this. We were front row just left of center and as I said, he really lights right up when he comes on stage - we literally saw him put on his game face

TWT is where we get to see that James Doohan's right middle finger is missing. He landed on a Canadian beach several days after D-Day and got ripped up by a machine gun. In his memoir he said he gave Hitler the finger ... and he still has it ...
